Hi hi! As a pediatric occupational therapist, I agree with your physical therapist! Time in jumpers encourages "toe walking," which can sometimes be a hard habit to break. It's so hard though when the little ones love them so much!
I'm curious. From what I've read and speaking to other care providers toe walking often does not lead to any developmental delays or impairments in growing infants. If this is the case why do some providers discourage there use?
I've been subscribed to you for about 1.5 years. Just recently I've started watching your videos from the beginning (your old ones). I love seeing how you've grown and changed into an amazing Mom to little Charlotte. Every kid and every Mom is different, only you know what is best for your baby. Keep up the good work. I enjoy seeing little glimpses into your life.

Loved seeing CC in her jump-a-roo! My kids had a Johnny Jump up that hung from our very wide entrance to our living and dining room. I don't know how anyone would live without something as fun as that! We sang the BINGO song to our daughter ( she is now 32) while she was in it and when it was time to clap she would jump and laugh! Such a great thing!
Put your teething ring in the fridge or freezer and then let CC gum it. The coolness really soothes baby's gums especially when they're inflamed and hot.
I used the jumperoo to occupy my baby while cooking too! It was a life saver. I read that it wasn't helpful for milestones as well but I think it helped my baby's leg strength and it was so helpful it saved my samity. I could cook or have a cup of coffee! I loved the jumperoo. I hated the rompers while I was pregnant. I thought they looked to" babyish" but when it was summer last year i LOVED the rompers. They are so EASY and practical. My son is 21 months now so they are handy again this summer too! I don't think they make them in bigger sizes so I will be out of luck next summer.
I really value your opinions and recommendations on baby products. Planning for a new baby isn't quite so daunting because of your videos and blog posts. Thank you!
I love your monthly updates for CC. Please continue them! I have a 7 month old son so it's nice to have another mom to get ideas from. My son also has a bouncer and loves it! His pediatrician also made a comment about bouncers not being good for development and "toe walking." If I listened to every advice someone gave to me, my son would live in a bubble! He loves his bouncer. He still stands flat on his feet. He's developing great. He's happy and healthy. I do what works best for my son and I. After all... Mama knows best. Keep doing what you do :-)
You have a beautiful happy baby! Enjoy every moment of it they are small for such a short time. I have always loved Carters rompers. My daughter is 2 1/2 now and Carters make "stylish" toddler versions too!
We had the same rainforest jumper for our son who will be turning 7 years old next month! ❤️ He absolutely loved his and built up such strong legs and tummy muscles with it! He would spend 15-20 minutes in it at a time and would jump himself to sleep sometimes! Lol! He loved it!! CC is so beautiful and you're an amazing momma!!
My daughter is 6 months old today and I love to follow your updates on Charlotte. I absolutely love that you baby wear!!! We also baby wear a lot, very rarely using the pushchair. The lillebaby looks super comfortable. X
My daughter loves the Sassy Training Cups. They're amazing! They have 360° drinking but don't spill! Great for transitioning between zippy cup and "real" cup.
My girls had a stationary FP Step n Play piano and they loved it. Go with your instinct and don't worry what others say. I firmly believe the greatest milestone is "happiness" and I think you are doing a terrific job with her development. The best advice/comment I ever received was from my husband's family pediatrician. I was talking with him at a party and feeling very judged about my daughter using a pacifier. As I rambled on he leaned over placed his hand on my forearm and said "It will come at the right time. I never sent a child to college with a pacifier."
CC is so beautiful baby~ and she is lucky to have mom like you!! I got Jellycat bunny for lovey to my 5 month daughter but she does not interested. After watching this video, I ordered Aden and anis security blanket and jellycat soothing blanket.. I hope my LO like it!!
My son had the same jumper only I believe it was the version that came before that one, he is now 7. He LOVED it from the first second we put him in it! He would frequently jump until he passed out and if you tried to get him out his legs would start going again lol. I wouldn't worry so much about putting a specific time limit on how long she is in it based on other peoples opinions, if shes having fun let her go, if shes done take her out, leg muscles can't be a bad thing right? :) My son had a couple different kind of therapists from 1 1/2 y/o and some were way more opinionated and critical then others, I wish the first overly critical one could see him now because I swear she thought he would never talk and I'd love her to see how wrong she was! In the end its good to hear other peoples advise but you know your child best and whats best for her and as long as shes happy, healthy, and loved your doing a good job. :)
Oh I wish I could get hold of one of those carriers in Sweden, it looks so comfortable! We started off with a Baby Björn One carrier, but our daughter never did like it much. Recently bought a Tula standard baby carrier , it is great, but I would have liked some more lumbar support!

You should try putting her in an exersaucer. It's kind of like the jumperoo, but not "jumpy". The bottom is a saucer and the seat spins and there's a lot for her to play with. Both my girls enjoyed it. My oldest loved it, my baby liked it - but not as much as her sister. Charlotte seems like she'd probably be into it :-)
Also, how does that jumping play set not help her with her milestones? It does! It's a great thing for her. Obviously you don't have her in that all the time! Momma knows best :)
Just found your channel and I fell in love. I have a 5 month old so your videos are helpful! We bought the Ergo 360 airflow and I'm not happy:/ I find that my baby is almost too close to me to the point where she is uncomfortable. She also needs a receiving blanket rolled up to sit high enough and that still doesn't work. Do you find that the Lille Baby avoids these issues?
She used to do videos on emotional and physical health by filing out 4 planners with multicolored pens and colored dividers instead of doing things with people and getting out of the house. Now she has real work, a baby and enough to do inbetween the product reviews we like. This is an improvement.

Don't worry about what everyone says...someone will always be there to disagree with you or say they know more or better.
My son had therapists also and being child free has nothing to do with it, he had both and the one that was most critical had 3 boys, I think some just think they know best and that's that. We had basically the same jumper and he loved it! And your right it saved my life daily I swear! LOL :)
That rainforest jumper for only 10 mins a day? Whoever said that, I'd never listen to. I have been a nanny for years and have a baby on the way and the one extremely beneficial activity is the jumper for babies! They learn to flatten out their feet to jump and learn fine motor skills by playing with the little toys on there. They love it! I used to have a baby in there for 20-30 mins at a time for normal "activity time" twice a day I'd say. Activities shouldn't just be 5-10 mins if the baby can stretch longer, they'll learn to do more with time :)
I would honestly put her in the jumper as often as you want my kids would fall asleep in them! I put them in the jumper right before bath and bed time just to Wear them out ;)
You take CC's clothes off to feed her solids? Are you going to do that when she begins to feed herself? That's what bibs are for! It's ok to get a little messy with babies Jen, it's what they do. You can also wrap a cloth diaper round her neck to feed her if you don't want to mess up her clothes but it seems like you're really making a lot of work for yourself undressing and redressing her every time you want to feed her something.

My 5 moth old's dr said the jumperoo was great for core strength.. don't worry too much about it!

Both of my daughters love love the jumperoo. My toy fav is cuddle and kind dolls. My 6 year old loves them.

Ok so I retuned my Ergo 360 and got the Lillebaby Airflow complete.... Amazing! We love it!

CC needs to wear the amber beads necklace. I have friends who swear by them.
