Thanks Dominic for taking us with you. I especially liked seeing the charts and the close-ups of the instruments. Recognize more and more, but never cease to learn. Great fun!

Thank you so much Andrea for your feedback and kind words too!
It’s not easy sometimes to capture good shots of in and outside, but when I am able to catch something interesting, I will do so for you guys.
I agree that seeing the screens helps very much and adds more info to the video, but the classic “noseview” footage has its charms too :)
Again thank you for your comment and joining me, and I wish you a great weekend!
      Best, Dominic

I remember flying out of IAD back in 1973 and taking those buses directly to the airplane from the main terminal. Now, they are only used to transport passengers from the main terminal to another terminal. The airport runway layout is so expansive that it takes time just to taxi from them. The runway you landed on sure needs to be cleaned of tire grime. You can almost feel the humidity.
Thanks for the clip. Will done.

Oh my, a guy on a stepladder with lights. That airport was the best in the nation, but they haven't upgraded the job yet. Oh well.

Always interesting! I have always lived in or near New York City, and we used to say in German that JFK was in “jene welt,” meaning the next world, the life after this one!

US airports are so behind in technology, still using marshallers to park aircraft vs electronic docking systems 😢

I guess that would be in that often mentioned „infrastructure bill“ the entire world was waiting for.
Some airports like LAX has undergone extensive care and development, while others have just kind of stood still in time.
Let’s hope some upgrades are underway! Thank you for watching! Best regards,Dominic
