School is there in agumbe, Railway station is in different place by name Arasalu! Near Shimoga, I saw in you tube that Rail way station is renovated with Malgudi days memories paintings.

Malgudi doesn't exist, that is a imaginary name. Serial was shot in Agumbe village in Shimoga district of karnataka. Agumbe is a tourist place.
