Kanai Sensei would sometimes teach shihonage by having us use just the thumb and forefinger of both hands to accentuate the idea that it is not "cranking" on the wrist that makes the throw. It is the extension of the arm and the "gentle" turning of the wrist at that extension which turns the elbow which turns the shoulder which turns the rest of the body into the fall.
Great training
Thanks for sharing Sensei 😊
