Policing in the UK is based around what the public do not know or what they are perceived not to know. It is very noticeable that as soon as it becomes apparent that the member of public knows their rights and stand up to the cops their attitude changes completely as demonstrated in this video.
I've often wondered why basic law and basic banking are not specifically taught in our primary schools. I can only assume that it's deliberate. Uninformed people are much easier to control.

I am from Holyhead, though I moved fourteen years ago to the Straits side of Anglesey. When I was a Kid The Wylfa power station was being built, and due to the huge amount of contractors the weekends were rough! The pubs and clubs in Holyhead would be heaving on a Friday and Saturday night, and there were not many Police Officers stationed in the town but they seemed to manage. There were some great coppers in the town back then, the type who could solve a problem with a sense of humour. Going back even further, about 60-65 years or so, there was a Sargent Pozzi-Roberts, old school type, he knew everybody (small town back then) kids were threatened with being taken home to their parents, teens that pushed their luck might have got a slap, a drunk causing problems in the Church House dance sometimes "tripped" on the steps. But, as locals my age would agree, Holyhead was a nice place to live. Times and attitudes have changed, in my opinion not always for the worse, but the town has changed, not for the better. There are a lot of really good people in the town that work hard trying to improve things, I'm not going to name names, they know who they are.

it's always the same: - If they wander around the premise, there was a burglary right the night before. - If they film marked police cars, someone damaged them the last week. - If they film private cars, it's about the current climate and stuff. Woke Fire engine sticker aside, auditors such as mat12128 are clearly doing a brilliant job as the police constable here was clearly agitated by the internet troublemaker phenomenon ! It was actually quite amusing at 6:16 where the police constable threatens to have a conversation with you unless you move on - I think that thought would make most people flee. Mat was firing on all cylinders again and the tables were turned half way through in an obvious way the constable was handed his A55 on a sliver plate. Brilliant work that ticked all the boxes - well done.

it's always the same:
- If they wander around the premise, there was a burglary right the night before.
- If they film marked police cars, someone damaged them the last week.
- If they film private cars, it's about the current climate and stuff.
By the amount of incidents reported to auditors while filming, i can only conclude that the UK police is basically in a state of war, attacked daily and i wonder how they still come out, without weapons and a MRAP to hide behind.
