Do you sell these lights? What is the point of all the info if we don't know how to purchase or build a light like this?

I would like to set up a curtain and light at our wedding when we do the removal of the garter, shadow theatre so no one has to see my fiancé actually go under my dress, and I was wondering where can I purchase a light that provides a sharp shadow and what kids and how big?

Good info, but more depth on how to create a usable light would be helpful. Like more specific examples.

Very interesting, thanks for your videos. I´m actually into shadow theatre and set up a dimmable led light myself. my question would be: do you never use lenses for your lamps? could you recommend a distributor for well manufactored convex lenses? for i think this could "power up" the light wtihout destroyingthe led...

a lense "powers" up the light because it bundles the rays of the light. but! because of that you cant get a crisp shadow anymore. the more you move the lense to its "burning point", the closer you are there, the more light you have but also soft edges at your shadows. if you are at the "burning point,, the original object, that casts the shadow, looks totally different from the projected image. it looks almost abstract.
it is a question always depending on what I want it to look like at the screen. i use both: with and without lense.

Good heavens, I have been scouring the internet and stores for days looking for a good bulb 💡.. Glad to have found a video that properly addresses and defines the problem. Now, has anyone out there been able to find a solution? Ten points to Gryffindor for anyone who can post a link or a name of an actual product! I'm really specifically looking for something that can run off of an AC current, but would love to hear of any practical solutions. Gracias

Do you have recommendations for LED light sources to purchase?

No. There is nothing useful on the market, as far as I know. Look among Led torches. Take the one with the smallest filament and the brightest output of lumen.

I disagree: a point is not just a point, a point is much more than a point.
