Really enjoyed the History of the park, I worked there in the popcorn and ice cream stand right as you came up the hill from the entrance..It was a wonderful time and great memories of all the events held there.
@@WallyLife I really don't know all that much that you don''t already know Kurt covered it pretty well..My mom often talked about the visits to the park via the rr system and trips to the Canoe club as for a interview I really don't know too much new I could tell you but I am willing if you want to ask questions but not via a video :)

She would often speak to me about her park memories .She remembers as a little girl hearing the blasting going on when they were creating Lake Walenpaupack.
I grew up in like Ariel Pennsylvania and you could actually find this place abandoned in the woods well when I was younger you could I don't know if it's still there anymore because I don't live in Pennsylvania and lake Ariel anymore I live in New York City but yeah I grew up here in lake Ariel pretty kool place to live and nice and peaceful and quiet.

That would have been in 1924-1925. They probably had to blast quite a bit to build the dam.

I think there are still some roller coaster remains on private property like old wooden cars and pieces of track, but most of it is gone.
