    Thank you for your thorough video. I want to acrylic paint pen on canvas makeup bags as a swag bag item, and I want my wording to last, so this is very helpful. Nice work by the way on your art and video!

    Thank you for sharing your varnishing techniques. Great tip to not go over a spot you missed to avoid varnishing over any sticky areas. It is so easy to make a mess that way. Do you paint the second coat in the same direction as the first coat or do you turn the painting sideways and apply the second coat so that the strokes are applied perpendicular to the first coat?

      Great question! I apply the second cost in the SAME direction as the first coat. Ive found that if you flip the canvas or paint it horizontally what happens is it creates a kind of checkerboard square pattern on the canvas. So I prefer to just do the second coat in the same vertical direction as the first. Thank you for watching 😊.

    Hi! Thank you for the video, this was very helpful. Do you think it would be ok to use the spray over a coating of the brush on varnish? I accidentally used a medium (ink) in a multimedia acrylic painting that bled when i did the brush on coat 😭 so im going to touch up the problem spots and i was hoping i could do a spray coat after to minimize bleed after. Thoughts?

      Oh no! Yes sometimes that happens with the brush on liquid varnish - I have had a painting that wasn’t fully cured bleed and it is pretty devastating. I would for sure switch to the spray and try that for the top coat :). Just wait 3 days after touch ups at least before spraying. Good luck!

    I found a piece of graffiti art that was done on a couch. It’s on a faux leather couch and i want to preserve it. Do you know if I can use the spray on varnish on this material to preserve the art???? Thanks for your input and expertise!

      It would probably be ok since its faux leather! I would use the spray. :)

    How about the strong smell what should we do about it?

      Always have a fan going and a window open if possible, and if your climate allows, leave your piece to dry outside :)

    Hi, I'm just wondering are you supposed to use a foam brush when applying the liquid varnish?

    • @Corijaye
      @Corijaye  5 месяцев назад

      You can use a foam brush or a traditional brush, however I find the foam brushes much softer and easy to clean after. If you go for a traditional brush, make sure to use a super super soft brush, and then clean it really well right after - I find these impossible to clean after and then I have to throw them out which makes me sad. So with that being said, I recommend a foam brush :)

      @@Corijaye thank you. Is a foam paint roller ok? I do it it quickly and I don't go over it.

    • @Corijaye
      @Corijaye  5 месяцев назад

      I think that should work as long as you load the varnish on all sides of the roller and don’t go over areas that are completed :)

    you should really wear air tight goggles / safty glasses as well, that mist is terrible for your eyes and tear ducts.

    8:20, that's not nearly 18 inches. You're less than 12 inches when you start and even less when you demo'd how to move the can. :(
