Great looking and sounding Telecaster at an affordable price. If i was looking for one, it would be on my shortlist. Thanks for your thoughts and demo John.
Sounds and looks great to me John. I'm glad the coin came down in favour of this one. I'm a big Vintage Guitars fan. I think that they are well worth the money. Still reckon that you should check out the latest Greeny/Moore Les Paul. The relicing is much more realistic than previous models. (I'm not particularly a relic fan, but I am a huge Gary Moore fan. Best guitarist ever!). I bought my two sons one each and they love them. The finishing was excellent. I was very impressed with the fret ends, beautifully done. Cheers. 😊😎🎸
I got 2 Vintage Guitars, love the wood not a Great Fan of Wilkinson Pup's (yes I've become a Pick up snob - Artist Bullbuckers @ £19 each delivered sound Feckin' propper) - swap em and you got a beauty!!! ...and any Guitar sounds good in your Hands John...🍎
Really informative review, thank you. As an acoustic player looking to branch out a little, one thing that interests me is the resonance of the guitar - and unamplified sound when couch noodling! Is this is something that you can comment on?
Great video John as always objective and thoughtfully presented. I must be honest, I don't know much about Vintage Guitars never had one or even tried one. But next time I am in the market I may at least give them a try.
I definitely have a thing for a thinline but was set on the Classic Vibe mainly due to the Vintage's 12" neck radius but just checked your specs link and it says 10" radius and thats close enough to 9-1/2 for me and the bone nut is the clincher for me, looks like Im going to have to sell 1 or 2 guitars that I dont use much ie Epi Dot and an Epi LP I guess I just dont get on with Gibson style guitars, each to their own I guess and I just feel more at home with Fender style guitars.
Have had 2 Vintage V6 S-type guitars. One with a maple fretboard which was terrible and the other with a rosewood. Two completly different guitars of similar age. I suspect Vintage has a QC problem.

Wow covers all the tones nicely, and looks great too! Blondie might be jealous. Vintage Tele at $700CAD in Canada, a little more than Squiers.
Still got the tagger on it
the ones sold here in Manila have binding in the body
John where was that guitar made? Viet Namm? Are some of them bound bodies?
Yes, this is made in Vietnam. As for the bound body... can't say I've seen one.
@@JRobsonGuitar one on reverb right now but the guy wants over $400 US for it so I think that’s high
