Great to have it published on youtube. I was there among the audience on my first concert with Iron Maiden ever, and it was a special evening indeed. I can easily understand that the band means something for the fans. With great songs and albums out, and band members that gives their best stuff, plus the coolest maskot ever you have a golden package to give out.
yeah it was my first iron maiden concert too. actually it was my first concert ever. i got to stand in the front and i managed to get janick and nickos sweatbands!
36:29 - watchful crowd safety personnel responding to something. Three respond directly, and two cover their positions. You always know that at a Maiden show, crowd safety is taken seriously! Such a fantastic change from the old days of taking miscreants backstage and beating the crap out of them. Maiden are professionals, and their attitude toward crowd safety has certainly saved lives. Ok, these were festival personnel, but still, they look like pros, not provocateurs. 56:50 - again, removing people from the crowd (for whatever reason) without provoking an ugly scene. When I was a teenager seeing concerts in the late 70s & 80s, these people would have been beaten before even reaching backstage. We've come a long way, and I appreciate the professionals who put safety first. We need these people, but they have to be on our side, watching out for our well-being, and this team has it together.
Bruce was in great shape that night!!! Singing all tht stuff with just half a tongue is just crazy. Here and there you hear the mumble, but he is masking it very well!
@@BanjoSick Oh yeah, when men's voices mature, if they're really professional with their training and voice exercises, they can gain that extra powerful low end growl. He's been tearing it up with his low-end for a while now. It's like Maiden gained a second singer, now with equally remarkable lows - not just the most powerful air raid siren tenor in metal history!
Tons Of Rock is great but I saw KISS play there in 2019, on the most sunny day in the year. Why do bands like KISS and Iron Maiden play outdoor concerts in scandinavia in the summer?? So much of their shows are about the visuals. KISS in bright sunlight was no fun. When Tons of Rock was in Halden, it was a logistic nightmare, but a really cool place to have a metal festival. In Oslo, it`s the other way around. It`s a logistic heaven, but it`s on a huge, flat soccer field with the sun blasting full on, all day. Having the festival in august would improve the experience a lot.
@@krustysworld1916 I hate Apple products, but they always have fantastic audio and video. The mic on your phone is excellent, with a deep, tight bass response (not easy in a tiny mic) so I could hear Harris clearly the whole time, but I think your hands might have been somehow obscuring it most of the time. (Not covering the mic, just in the way.) There were moments when the full sound opened up and sounded fantastic, but mostly it sounded a bit muffled. (I teach studio recording at a middle school, and the school-issued iPads have extraordinary microphones too, so my students can record at home with great quality.) But what a way to end the show - getting the Harris wristband. Nice! Was it all sweaty and nasty? Thanks so much for posting this!

The two encores that I posted separately were another 25 minutes, so it was close to a 2 hour show. It’s hard for bands like Maiden to play every song and there’s always gonna be some classic tune missing from the set list. Bottom line is I had a great time 🤟

@@dacosu I hope you guys see them more often. Been a maiden fan for 42 years now and seen them loads of times and they never disappoint.
The way they designed that senjutsu Realm is just incredible. But the spitfire still takes the cake.
What an incredible show!
not better to attend the concert?
What an inspiration Bruce is. No cancer was going to beat him.
It's amazing how after everything he went through he sounds great. The guy is a living legend.
Without a doubt, the greatest band ever. I do wonder though... is bruce human? He sounds amazing.
Thank you for make this show available for all. Here, in Brazil, I will personally attend this presentation of Maiden next month.
Loved the ending everything from Hallowed was gold!!!! Loved Clansman, especially!!!

He didn't have his tounge cut dummy they did radiation and kemo
@@ellamcclanahan9811 The doctors had to take a good chunk out of his tongue. You can hear him mumbling in interviews and in his singing.

Such a high quality VIDEO. Wondering what the camera is?
iPhone 12 Pro Max. Does a pretty good job for a phone. Just gets tiring holding it up, so you can’t have too many beers 🍻 😀

Did u record the encores also?
Not 2 hours. 2003-2013 I saw them 5 times 2 hrs set, but this is festival. Sadly I had to cancel this time

people need to stop going to concerts just to film it , put the damn phone down and enjoy the show
