Omgggg you have to tone your hair after bleaching!! Or at least get a good purple shampoo (and purple conditioner). The purple will take out the yellow tones and keep it more white!

purple shampoo is your friend after a bleach job. Purple cancels out yellow, they're in the opposite sides of the color wheel. Thus if you want your hair to be lighter, put purple.

Try using a toner on the hair, it should be able to help get some of the yellow colour out if he is wanting a more neutral colour. ☺️
