Your passion about this game and this world is just so heartwarming! I have a little Steamer I started many years ago when the class came out, haven’t really played her since, makes me want to pick her up again and level her up.
i used to play dofus back then in 2011 and i remember when this class 1st come out it was so interesting because he brings some new mechanics to the game and i really liked it so i start to play it, and it took me many moths to understand how to use it perfectly and ngl he is so good at doing everything he can heal do damage and also change the whole fight if used correctly. And yeah i ve quitted dofus in 2017 and now i think m gonna back again to play some PVP . thanks to your video that helps me to bring back memories of how this class works again
I’m loving the chance Iop. You would think that my Sadi and Eni would have to save it in big fights, but he comes out of most scraps unscratched. The Sadi gets hammered every time
@@Benjamight Well, he is omni, so I can always use Wrath and Zenith if needed, but I play him as chance and use the Emerald Dofus up in their face 😉. I imagine that some dungeons would be an issue (that darned Moowolf requires a heal assist), but Minotot was a walk for him yesterday. The dumb monsters always seem to go after the weak characters first, which is fine by me! Happy New Year, Ben. Another great, informative video!
You can have any number of turrets at tier 2. You can also have 2 turrets tier 3 if an ally foggernaut uses evolution on your turret to put it to tier 3, but then that allied foggernaut won't have any of their own turrets tier 3. Harpooner, and drill, both deal damage with their normal attack in the element that would deal the most damage (but they won't hit as neutral). Their special spell they only hit in what your best element is (which is a bug, it is supposed to hit in the element that would deal the most damage - this bug has been in the game for over 2 years)
Thank you SO much Honest Hit, I appreciate you taking the time to let me know of these corrections. I'll get the Pinned comment updated. Really appreciate the feedback.
Hi there Benjamight! My fellow guildies introduced your channel to me and so far your solo and kamas making guide has been awesome and helpful to me! I wonder will you revive the class guide series? I'm personally a Sac and I just hit 100 which im kinda lost atm.. hope you will revive the series and someday release a Sac guide!
So glad you found and are enjoying the channel! Yes, Class Guides are going to be my main focus for a bit - and Sacrier is near the top. I don't have a set time-table (I wish I could), but it will arrive. 🙂
I love this style of video. Since you might be getting some dofus in here, the last month, maybe doing an up to date version for all the classes? I honestly don't know why this game isn't the most popular game in the world.
Appreciate that Hierophant. Yeah, I could make updated guides to most of the content on my channel (outside of gameplay videos), but my Dofus time is very limited now. A lot of time & effort goes into making these guide type videos, which was a LOT of fun, but probably not something I can do now. I'm spending most of my RUclips time growing my new channel now... I'll still pop over here to make Dofus gameplay videos from time to time though. :-)
@Benjamight Watching and hearing dofus occasionally is good enough- I'll go check out the "Games" channel, too. I don't, actually, game anymore. No PC. But i do play dofus touch on my phone, occasionally. Take me back to the 1.7ish days of dofus.
Thanks for the request Fky, but I have a feeling it will be a long time from now (if ever). I plan to still post gameplay content on here from time to time, but I've moved on to another channel that I'm investing most of my RUclips time into.
The Foggernaut is a class I've played a few times but never very serious. It's on my list to give it a good try in the future! Now let's see what you can already learn me about this class. :D
That's awesome Wesmaster - hopefully this guide is clear & easy to follow. It's been a while since I've made a class guide, but this is a format I plan to follow moving forward.
Pls pls I love all the details about this class pls can we have also the levels 200 and what build? Gear weapon and everything would be so awesome I'm loving this class thanks to you lol
You're welcome Reks - so glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I plan to make an 'Advanced' guide at some point covering those levels. Not sure when yet, but it will be here eventually. 🙂
Hey, good to see some dofus guides again! I was thinking about trying out a fogger so this might help a bunch. By the way, would you say it's a good class to solo some content with since I play ilyzaelle mostly?
Absolutely Papa - I would rank this as one of my top recommended solo classes. For solo, I'd go Strength until 120+ (or chance if you want higher prospecting), and then start considering hybrid in whatever element you like most after that. You won't be disappointed.
Great video, been loving the Foggernaut since I started playing it. Question, how do you get your battles to look so minimal? I noticed that in some of your other videos but I can't seem to figure out how to set it up like that. Thanks!
Thanks Xeroblade, appreciate that. As far as 'minimal', are you referring to the grid patterned look with all the map cosmetics removed? If that's what you're talking about, you'll right under the "End Turn" button, there are a few small clickable squares there - you want to click the one that says "Tactical Mode". There are a few other things there you can tinker around with, but that should give you the look that I have in this video. If by some chance that is not what you were referring to, send me a little more detail and I'll try to see if I can help. Have a good one. :-)
I agree Carlos, Xelor is an awesome class - I've used one for a long while in my Quest to 200 team. I would definitely say I'm more on the 'basic' side of Xelor potential though, so I'll keep working on it. :-)
Oh sure, you can definitely go hybrid... in fact, one of the hardest hitting Foggers I've run with was an Omni-Crit build... not only did they hit like a truck, but they did it in every element - it was impressive. Not sure I can give much advice, except it's most viable in the endgame (I'd say levels 190+), and it's going to be VERY expensive! Stack the crits as high as you can, and do you best to keep the elements balanced. A lot of planning (preferably through a set building site) would be my best recommendation so you don't waste a lot of kamas.
if i'm correct and a turn in dofus is 30 seconds and i see that in game you played 166 turns ,then it took you around an hour and a half to record ,were there that many outtakes ?
LOL - that's hilarious Jeff. It was close to 2 hours, because a lot of times I had to destroy a turret I had leveled, so I could put one back out that wasn't Tier 3, maybe had to get into a new position, read the script to make sure I wasn't missing a detail... there's a LOT that takes place people never see. Between testing spells (prior to recording), taking the selfie, creating the thumbnail, recording the footage, editing the footage, and uploading everything... I'm easily 20 hours into making this video. I'm very happy with the final results though. :-)
@@Benjamight i know how you fell i work as a video editor editor so i know what goes on ,very little of what actually goes on makes it to the vid ,very good tutorial tho ,i think for the advanced guide ,maybe you could teach some techniques to best use of the class in addition to gear reco and new spells
I really like the video but my problem is that in the gear suggestions you show the lv50 and up build but i dont know the name of the items since im a new player. I would appreciate if that part was more beginnner friendly cause im searching online about sets and i just feel so overwhelmed with how many items there is in the game and how hard it is to know what i should be building, what sets are the best, its very hard to know that as a new player. Thank you.
Excellent point Hausu, and that was actually one of my concerns as well. I really wanted to include links that would take someone directly to the set on the website I mention in my Picking Gear website - but I couldn't get it to work. I will see if I can come up with an easier way to depict this for future videos - thank you for the feedback, it's very helpful.
buildiing fog at 70 lvl , all points in str and have pushback dmg set of celestial boar, but i get very squishy when traped by monsters and btw my damage is also not so high as i cant always use backwash :( so little hard to play with squsihy and not so high consistent damage
Hello Alejandro - you can build a fogger about any way you want, and they are great. I know Pushback is very common (especially for PvP players), Str/Int hybrids are fantastic for damage/heal setups. I just ran with someone a few minutes ago that was 100% omni-crit build, and my goodness - that was insane! One-shooting 1,600+ ranged damage with the harpooner spell WITHOUT the harpooner...lol. It was really cool to see. Lots of options.
