I recommend you to look at the lyrics for our page. It’s really beautiful from the members. I think it’s an amazing song /mv to pay tribute and closing and as a way to move forward.
Key's videography is *magnificent*. And his album "Face" is every bit as much about Jonghyun as "The Story of Light", most explicitly the song "I Will Fight" sort of his personal "Our Page", and just as emotional
Our page is a very emotional and meaningful song the four boys poured there heart and soul into. There from now on concert was two months after jonghyuns passing and it was very hard to watch but I felt it was harder on the boys to do so I supported them by watching it. There's five microphones four boys tears and heart ache but like true performers they made it through for us the fans and for themselves. What a beautiful concert it was. Just know when you get around to watching this we will be here right beside you when you do. Hi from hot Phoenix Arizona!!!!!
Thank you for your reaction and I’m sorry no one told you about "our page" 😟it’s indeed a song with a very deep meaning, written by the members for Jonghyun. I don’t know if you consider immersing yourself in their live performance but, if you want a little warning for some of their songs you can read what I wrote after this : "Replay", "Love", "Diamond sky" and "From now on" from their concert of the same title "From now on", for me are also very emotional. There are also others lives performances of their others concerts that are very moving but I think the most difficult one to watch for the first time remains "Y se fuera ella" by Jonghyun (There is a version with Eng Sub). I prefer to warn in case (I find it cruel to let the new Shawols watch these songs without knowing anything beforehand) that at least you can prepare a little mentally and bring some tissues 😕
To understand the story in SHINee's "I Want You" MV you have to connect it to the story in their "Good Evening" MV. "Good Evening" is about the grieving process and how the members all dealt with Jonghyun's death in the public eye. In "I Want You" it's a continuation of that story, however, now it's about how the members are learning to find happiness again. Like in Alice in Wonderland, where Alice follows the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole and discovers a magical wonderland. In the "I Want You" MV the members follow the fox (which is supposed to represent Jonghyun) into the magical well on a journey to find happiness. The fox represents Jonghyun's spirit as he helps guide the rest of the members through life. If you notice, the forest, the well and the fox are all things we also saw in their "Good Evening" MV. Therefore the story continues from one MV to the next. This MV is full of a range of emotions because that is exactly how the members are feeling at this time. You should look at the song as bitter sweet, not necessarily sad -- it has a hopeful, happy theme. You also see SHINee in space catching diamonds because the diamonds represent SHINee, Shawols and Jonghyun. SHINee's symbol is a diamond and the group was given the name SHINee because the members shine like stars. They are collecting diamonds to show just how important the group and everything to do with SHINee is to them. Jonghyun is now our star and "Diamond in the Sky." One reason SHINee are in space is thought to be because being in space is closer to Heaven and closer to Jonghyun. Plus, Jonghyun really loved the moon. It was even said that the moon turned a pearl aqua color -- SHINee's fan color -- the day of Jonghyun's funeral. And fans took comfort in the fact that this meant that his spirit had made it to Heaven and that he was now at peace. This MV is supposed to show how SHINee sees themselves and how they are dealing with everything that happened, which is different than how in "Good Evening" they feel the general public sees them. Everything from SHINee's Story of Light album is linked and the entire album is about different things to do with Jonghyun and the journey they have been on for the past 10 years, etc. And even Key's solo debut "Forever Yours" MV and Face album and Onew's solo debut "Blue" MV and Voice album are connected to these MVs.
I’m sorry you didn’t know about Our Page. Hope you are okay. I agree with the other commenter to look up the lyrics. The boys wrote them together. The whole The Story of Light Album (where all these MVs are from + Good evening) feels like a love letter to Jonghyun. Have a listen on your own free time if you can. And yes, Onew has a way to creep on you after some time ;) It took me half a decade to realize he is the real sexiest member lol. Once you see it you can’t unsee it. Thanks for SHINee Sunday!
"Countless" is the epilogue track on SHINee's repackaged The Story of Light album and it was meant to show how SHINee has now come out on the other side in their grieving process and they are now ready to start to move on. This song is a special song dedicated to the fans, letting Shawols know how much we have meant to them over the years. So, the theme of his MV is sort of about time -- the time we have spent together as SHINee and Shawols. In other words, we have been together for a long time -- 10 years -- but there are "Countless" reasons why I still want and need you by my side, etc. I think the passing of time feeling you get is supposed to be a reflection of how time has passed over the years. Their anniversary marks the passing of time, as we think back on 10 years together and gear up for many more years to come. This song is supposed to be the happy ending to their anniversary celebration and I see the message in the MV as a reassurance to fans that they plan to continue to be the SHINee we know and love for many more years. Blue flowers, when equated with a message usually stand for love and inspiration, and when presenting someone with blue flowers you are telling them you will stay loyal and passionate about them. In "Countless" I see SHINee presenting blue flowers to use Shawols saying, they are promising to stay true and loyal to use and to keep the passion they have as a group alive -- they are promising to keep on working hard to give us their best. Which is fitting because "Countless" was the song that helped to bring their message in their Story of Light album to a close and showed us that they will continue on and work even harder to continue theirs and Jonghyun's legacy, etc. Plus, pearl aqua blue/green, is SHINee's fan color so there are always blue images and blue colors in their MVs. Blue has a lot of important messages when it comes to SHINee. Fun fact: During promotions for their 10th anniversary, the members all said that when it came time to renew their contract after 10 years, they each separately went to SM and resigned without even discussing it with each other. They all said they felt like there was a lot more they wanted to do and accomplish as SHINee and they didn't even need to think about it. This album was their first comeback after Jonghyun died, so that is why this was such a poignant time in SHINee's history and why it is so important to fans. "Countless" also was SHINee's last group comeback before Onew, Key and Minho went off to serve in the military. If you notice, Taemin's style of singing, especially in SHINee songs, is a lot like Jonghyun. And as you have seen, Taemin fills in for Jonghyun whenever Jonghyun was unable to participate in a performance. And even today, Taemin often takes over the high notes and the parts that I think would probably have been Jonghyun's parts in their new songs, like you hear in "Countless." Jonghyun was the one that really took Taemin under his wing and helped him to become the singer and performer that he is today. So, many think that Taemin's voice emulates Jonghyun because he is the one that taught Taemin to sing. Jonghyun has always been Taemin's biggest supporter and the one that rooted for him the hardest and loudest out of anyone.
I'm finding that I need to rediscover the soundscape in The Sound of Light because its so beautiful!! SHINee always moves me in a thousand different ways on any given day and I'm so thankful for that - how many other artists, regardless of whether they are KPOP or not, can you say does that to you? Less than a handful for me, and I've been on this earth a long, long (long!) time. Thank you again for your SHINee Sundays! Highly recommend you delve into Key solos, he's dropping Gasoline, his full-length solo album on August 30th - start your preparations!
Love from another shawol. Highly recommend these lives from Shinee World IV: Sherlock Excuse me Miss Other than that, check out Onew’s Rainy Blue live. Key is having a comeback soon!
Ohhh same!! Loveeee Minho's singing voice! Fudge I wont survive the moment he release a Solo Album! M already barely surviving from watching his covers from his fanmeets.. 🤯🤯 He's got 4 solo songs so far.
Next you should react to their Japanese stuff....my personal favorite is "winter wonderland " MV I really like their vocals on this song...it's my all time favorite Christmas song...plzz react to this....
Some popular live stages that show different sides of Shinee (all great obviously): Excuse me miss (SWC 4) Evil (SWC 3) Like a fire (SWC 3) Everybody (Tokyo dome) Woof Woof (SWC 4) Sleepless night (comeback showcase cause it has subtitles 'SHINee Music Spoiler_2')
Our Page turned me into a shawol the first time I watched it. I'd heard Atlantis and Don't Call Me and Ring Ding Dong but that was all, until I heard Jonghyun's Moon. Fell irrevocably in love, started exploring. Came across this video (the first Shinee mv/performance I'd ever seen; at that point I didn't even know who was who yet) and it was so wrenchingly beautiful and filled with love and grief and I understood right then that all 5 of these guys were extraordinary and I needed more. I've loved a lot of music in my life and appreciated a lot of singers and bands, but Shinee's the only group I've ever been an actual fan of.
Minho has a very beautiful voice and is a really good lyricist. I still hope that we will finally get his first solo album this year. I know it's going to be great. I expect some classic r&b vibes and sultry vocals.
There's even a live performance of Countless where they imitate the sound effect you imitated 🤣 And I love Minhos singing voice, too ❤️ You should watch their solos you haven't yet and some live performances since they are better live 😍

I recommend all the Japanese MVs. Some examples, "Get The Treasure", "Your Number (black/dance version" and so on... They are amazing!
SHINee are just a bunch of lovable humans. Such amazing artists.

Already 4 years and I am still heartache and cry my eyes out when I listened to Our Page. Thank you for reacting to 5HINee.
Thanks for Shinee! Next live performances, please! Evil, Hitchhiking, Password, Chocolate, Every time, Your number… Selene 6,23, Sleepless night…
