Bob Hope relied heavily on those cue cards off to the side. Watch him. He really doesn't look at Jack here, and every other live appearance, he does the same thing.

Bob really knows how to make Jack snicker while trying to appear composed. I love these old shows!

I remember Peter Leeds played the part of the nosey neighborhood dry cleaner in the 1960 Bob Hope & Lucille Ball comedy " The Facts Of Life".
