As soon as Lorenzo got up and threw his first ball I said to myself "damn two hander", lol. He was locked in on the 13 board. Easy shot for him. Good bowling Forrest. I enjoyed it. I like these tournament videos.

Good morning Forrest! I like Tournaments with a more challenging shot, because then more times than not, it comes down to making your spares as well As striking. Great video, keep them coming. Thanks.

Was able to watch a lot of this in person. Huge scores don’t give you much wiggle room and shotmaking is less important. I was surprised it was the house pattern because, as a newer bowler, I find that house to be the easiest for me to learn on. Still really good bowling!

Another great video Forrest. Not much room for error on easy patterns like that. No way to separate yourself if you don't string 9 strikes a game. As you said though, spare shooting is the key to great bowling. Keep it up and go get em!

Still a good tournament and cash in your pocket. I would like to see a cross channel doubles with you and Brittany against Packy and Madison. It could be 2 games with one on each channel. The viewership would be high and I think it would be great fun. Something to think about....

Great shooting. House shot tournaments can be frustrating because significantly less shot making is required to strike. The West Lane house shot seems to look better from straighter angles as both opponents were more direct than you. Maybe useful next time the masters is there and you’re in match play. Love watching your videos.

Still bowled really well forest! My personal opinion was I was kinda sad to see the ball change from the purple ball to the colorful one during your first match. This is coming from someone who's never bowled even on a leauge but it just seemed that ball reaction was so good with the purple ball but you changed after a pulled shot and not because of bad ball reaction. I think if you kept the same ball maybe moved 1 or 2 boards with your feet keeping your eyes the same and actually hitting your mark would of benefited more than a ball change. This is just my opinion I don't know anything really about bowling just my observation.

  • @nordattack
    @nordattack 3 месяца назад

It just seemed that the bowlers who had the straighter projections had a better look over all. Going around the lane seemed much harder.
But I agree, strike fest patterns really are about who matches up best rather than who is the better overall bowler.
You still did great though, nothing to be ashamed of.

Tournaments where there is no carry over atleast until the step ladder finals are awful because it doesn’t reward good bowling in qualifying

  • @JordanBondar

As soon as I saw the 2 hander in the loser bracket I knew you were outmatched. The pin action, speed and rev rate outclasses 1Hs all day. Awesome bowling for 1H though! 14:54 Is a good example of why 2H is so crucial to use in tourney. I havent finished the video yet though.
Edit: You shot really well, too bad you got but up against a 2H. That extra speed and revrate helps the carry. You will catch em off guard next time. You got this Forest

Better luck next time bud, you bowled better than you think, a few lazy shots here and there did not help and your opponents bowled great as well and yes you are right they got better carry but majority of your strikes were flush, and your shot posting was great and your slide foot was more consistent and was more in the center of your chest a secret to good balance and making better shots. Waiting for your next tournament videos bud. GOOD LUCK.

Putting no worth on your Q games is rather lame to the point a bowler way out ahead could just quit his last 5 frames and not even bowl because it means nothing once your qualified.
Overall watching your Q games I liked what I saw some very consistent bowling albeit one negative maybe the spare shooting needs some new thought analysis.
However what I have seen watching a plethora of tournies with Walter Ray etc etc is that for some reason "mental game"bowlers tend to pull a LOT of shots inside but with easy lanes can still be rewarded.

Sheesh man. U can't catch a break! U threw it damn good with a few slip ups but couldn't get a break outta them. Meanwhile, the 2 hander caught all the breaks with his bad shots. Another drive back home with the radio down and a conversation with self.
