BLESSY is clearly outdated, he don't know how to make a movie engaging in the current times; he should have trimmed the movie at least by 1 hour to make it 'watchable'. I feel sorry for Prithviraj. They both probably got over excited about this novel and wanted to show all the hazards one might have heard about a desert. In this process they lost the soul of the movie, Never once I felt for Najeeb, except for the last 15 minutes of the movie. I believe Blessy's golden time is far over.

Shows the kind unity in Kerala between people beyond religion or caste... North Indians can't even imagine a society that we are proud of...
That my friend will unfortunately change with current political climate in india....unfortunately, it will spread to kerala as well, and other communities will be minority....I pray that may not be the case but, the status quo speaks a little different
@@lkoshy807 in Kerala only Hindus werre divided based on caste. 70 years ago, upper castes would not even touch lower castes.The Kerala's 90% lands were in the hands of uppercastes and lower castes were toiling in the land for feeding throatglutting upper castes.The distance to be maintained by different castes were like 2.5ft, 8ft, 12ft when the upper castes pass by and the lower castes (Kshoodras) man can not consume his wife at first night without upper caste,on whose land the lower caste man is working, consuming her. That time no impurity or untouchability mattered. Even the lower caste women had to pay tax for covering their breasts which is known as 'Mulakkaram'. Now those era has gone onlivion. Nobody thinks like North Indians here when it comes to the matter of castism. Power of education and humanity. So dont dream BJP has got any chance here. We dont really buy the cowdung buisuits and shudd gaumutra.
@jermyhassan I hope you're right... I want kerala attitude to continue as I remember it where brotherhood and humanity reign supreme over cultural identification.
That said.. despite our progress, I see lots of educated malayalee folks who revert back to the archaic values at times cause it's hardwired from the old school generation.
Like I said, I hope I'm wrong and time will tell.

Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Thalapathy Vijay, Dhanush, Suriya, Karthi...are all nepo kids....all these guys were given chance and they improved their skillset from their first movie, they were ok in their 1st film and they became awesome now with experience....like in an office an intern working hard becoming an MD with experience and learning. To gain that experience they were given chances...they werent trolled so badly as actors are trolled now.....ppl were very forgiving in the South back then....compared to what happened with Abhishek bachchan who is decent enough but still lacked opportunities...

You know I was so intrigued with 'Ibrahims' character all through the 2nd part of the movie... And the story is so moving .. if we take a spiritual lens to it... Think about how Najib got into slavery and how he made the escape and then Ibrahim who was a convict but what we saw on the screen was an angel giving his all to care for and keep the other 2 alive

We act the perils of life and it becomes entertainment and brings *in $$$* for a handful and it is *overshadowed by the thousands of Najeeb* still in the Oil desserts, may be a few will live to tell the tale and some others hang ther head in shame, feel the helplessness and . Isn't man a paradox in himself ?

Aren't These *hardships* considered acceptable .And so does not make news anymore .Poverty, impoverishment, forced labour, bonded labor, physical abuse *are acceptable* . Isnt it ? It has been done since the mid 1960's or more ( I dont know) and have become the norm .
