I haven’t managed yet, but the fact I am thinking about it is a huge achievement and it’s all down to you. I hope you, Tyler and Bear are all happy and healthy. I remember you mentioning that you stopped exercise altogether when you started recovery and I completely agree based on the obsession that can come about with exercise when under eating like you said you experienced. I have experienced that also. But I have been a springboard and platform diver since I was 11 years old and am now a senior diver - I am 21 years old now. It is since I was 12 that I have struggled with eating and I eat enough now, but only eat things I consider “healthy” for example I haven’t eaten chocolate or cake etc etc since I was about 13 because it scares me. I can’t intuitively eat. I jus wondered if you had any thought maybe on what you would have done in my position to start recovery, just because I don’t feel like I can give up diving but I don’t want to feel this anxiety around food and exercise anymore. Sending so much love. Thank you for always teaching life is about thriving and not surviving. 💖💖💖💖💖 you’re amazing and always will be

To be honest Tyler isn’t totally off his rocker when he mentions picking up your kids poop if they shit on the street😂 my three-year-old had to go so he did it behind a tree and I definitely used triple doggy bags to pick it up and dispose of it😬🤢 Ahhhh the life of a mother🤪

Wow you're doing so well Rebecca! :) Buffets scare me quite a lot because I feel like everyone is watching what I put on my plate. And then I get anxious and feel a lot of pressure to choose the "right" foods (whatever that is) and end up only eating foods that are safe for me. You inspire me to do better next time! Please keep doing what you're doing! :D
I used to love this vegetarian buffet which was the only place that had reasonable prices, but food without labels just freaks me out so much, and I was the one looking at other ppls plates bc I was so insecure and needed to confirm that I'm not eating "too much" etc. We gotta go to our fave buffet and try the food we never had before

I'm really struggling to find a reason to move from quasi to full recovery... like i dont really see what other benefits there are to full recovery other than the freedom around food and im not sure if that freedom is worth fighting for? What made you guys decide to go from quasi recovery to full recovery?
Why not? Don’t you want to be free? It really is worth it. Live your life to the fullest. Enjoy everything you do including your food. It sounds dark but you never know when your life will be over. When your laying in your deathbed do you really think you will be glad you restricted yourself from delicious foods, or do you think you’re going to regret not living your life while you could’ve. It’s not just about being healthy. You can eat enough but not be recovered. It’s about breaking boundaries and freeing yourself from your eating disorder.
Do you ever physically feel bad after big meals? Like bloated or nausea? Idk, but it seems like you only deal with bad thoughts after eating food. I’m still getting used to eating bigger portions and just more in general. I’m getting better and dealing with thoughts, but the hardest thing for me is dealing with bloating and puffiness after eating more than I’m used to. I hate feeling bloated, and would gladly get rid of it and just deal with the thoughts. Have you experienced this? Do you still experienced this? Does it go away over time?
I'm a huge fan bec would love to see more lifestyle content from you less eating, you are so much more than a recovery account would hate for you to get stuck in that genre. ❤️❤️❤️

Woah. I've never seen anyone else struggle with food for the same reasons as me. DP/DR suckks. If you want any advice: practice relaxing a bit with food. Yes it serves a purpose as enjoyment, but that doesn't mean it's pointless if you don't feel like you're fully experiencing the present moment. The more chill eating (or anything) becomes, the more I've started to appreciate "special" things again. Also Dodie helps
I never know what to take in a buffet... there are too many choices but a la carte is sooooo expensive if you eat a lot ( even if I almost never eat two times like you) @rebeccajane
