Ty Steven ur the best :D Later Edit : Something like "Balance Life" would be amazing, a skill with high cool down that basically brings the HP of the party to a equal lvl, drops the HP of those with full hp and rises the hp to the ones with low hp, ballancing the Party's HP, that would be awesomeeeeee
Phenomenal showcase. Especially loved that gap closer heal even in an unfinished state. Look forward to seeing more of the offensive kit of the Cleric! :)
Flash Cure is clearly intended to be a spot heal for when ure channeling a powerful ability on the tank, or any long cast really that u dont want to interrupt, but have to spot heal someone else. Incredibly well thought out, really. I would also say Soothing Glow should also function similarly since it really doesn't last long enough for u to want to prebuff with it, and it doesn't feel too impactful of a button when u do press it, but make it an ogcd ability and u have urself an incredible combat pattern for the Cleric. Really loving this possibility of this Battle Cleric, clearly Steven didn't show off its full potential literally touching it the first time and having to absorb 18 unique abilities that are intended to be used in different circumstances, but he fared really well regardless and displayed how fun this class can be if u dare to come out of the niche "i only press green buttons" mentality. I can imagine that Cleric should be regenerating a ton of mana with the buff, dealing decent damage, applying barriers and hots and aoe, abusing the crazy creative Divine Infusion(?) mechanic with the yellow resource bar. We haven't seen how mobile all the classes are, but it does seem that Cleric has a lot of options in group play to kite, with a couple of stuns and a repositioning tool, and I imagine choosing the correct soloplay talents would transition well, not to mention the offspec u select also changing the way u play fundamentally.
@22:26 KEKW This is a stellar showcase for the Cleric; Ashes is really coming together. I love that you and your team are taking their time and putting real thought behind each archetype. This has me stoked for the Bard Archetype.
The Chain heal thing is pretty cool, I think something that would key the player to knowing how many bounces were gonna happen would be nice. maybe a sectioned casting bar.
Even in the darker areas, I like that I wasn't seeing the "flashbang" from previous showcases! Every month, the team is showing consistent progress and that's the best part.
Yeah, like was said in the video, people tend to forget that things like visual and audio effects are last in the pipeline. So I constantly see people playing alphas/betas and complaining that things like casting animations, attack animations, running animations, etc don't look good.. yes because that's the final thing to be worked on.
I love what you did with making the healer interesting to play! Usually have no interest but with keeping it super action oriented I may actually give it a try. I really enjoyed the reactive and predictable spell combo.
Holy Trinity a great skill name. A battle res that costs 1/2 of your life, mana, and yellow bar. Specing it increases the targets revive health and decreasing healers cost. Can be used as a sacrifice res, killing the cleric (if the Clerics health is below50% its a self sacrifice) but resurecting the target at max 50% health. This becomes an UNHOLY TRINITY cast by sacrificing a teammate for greater target health on res (75%) for 1, (100%) for 2 teammates instead of the cleric. Now that will cause some conversation in the group.

@@phila1992 I mean he's not a cleric main, it's hard to get the rotations perfect in such a short period of time and he recently had an eye surgery. Given the circumstances I think he did a way better job than the last showcase AND to be fair no one died!
As a 15 years main healer this showcase was really cool, the most interesting part was when Steve changed heal target at the last second of the big heal cast because of the target bug he mentioned, idk if this interaction is intended but I really liked it as it makes micro-gameplay more interesting, same for simultaneous casts you showed here. I wished to watch some cool externals apart from HoTs but I assume that is more suitable for Bard Archetype so I'm looking forward to that showcase to have a more complete idea of how will be the party/raid gameplay
Yeah I'm hoping there's tons of types of healers. MMOs usually get it wrong by having like one healer and all it really does is heal HP and maybe has a barrier or two. Then for the most part it just sits there doing damage and making sure everyone's topped off. I want to see more though like bards that support by music and can give out buffs, regens, and heals. Not being as strong as the cleric's burst heal, but being able to still heal and keep people topped off if given the time. I also hope there's a class, or even Cleric with different skills, that can be more preventive in healing. Like instead of doing burst healing it focuses more on using shields to stop the damage in the first place. I always enjoy that on MMOs like FFXIV as Sage where I can put up a shield on allies and just stop big hits from happening. Like if I see a 'tankbuster' happening I can throw a big shield at the tank and they take little to no damage. Also, I agree that being able to change target mid cast is nice.
I like that it isn’t all smart healing. As someone that has played a game like ESO for a long time healing gameplay is just to easy on that game. Single button heals that auto target and gets everyone alive. I like that this looks much more skill based. Over powered healing makes combat a little dull imo take new world as an example. Healers are so strong that and have so much impact on combat with such little effort. This looks much better imo.
@@lhatten512 When did you last play New World?.. But I'll agree about ESO where it's mostly you just use a skill or two and suddenly everyone's full health. So to try and balance healing they make enemies do way too much damage. So it's just a constant tug of war on health bars. It's because people keep begging for "action" so games give it to them. Yet people don't realize that while action is nice there needs to be downtime and such as well or it just gets boring once you run out of steam. Plus a lot of people love to comment about healing and healers without actually having played healers.. So they say things like healers are overpowered but haven't even touched them. Or say that healers need to "adjust" but again they have no idea what healers go through.
@@Eventide215 I have healed in New World and ESO. Sacred ground in New World is way to strong and I don’t think there is any arguing that. In ESO it’s off-healing. From skills and sets. ESO felt way better when they locked buffs and heals to inside the group, but when you hit a random pug and someone’s earthgore procs from across the map and heals them to full while they are laying on their back. So I will stick to my statement healing is way to easy and way to power in both games.
@@lhatten512 You didn't answer my question which is hilarious. I asked when did you last heal in New World and you come back with "I have healed in both games". I even agreed with you that ESO healing is pretty bad and you still act like I was against you.
Finally !! Thank you lntrepid for making the pure healer class great again. Us, players who only focus on healing abilities, REALLY want to thank you very much.
Thank you Steven! Wishing you and the team at Intrepid ongoing support. Loved the video. Those cleric ability icons are gorgeous and fit true to the class fantasy!
I just finished playing Baldur's gate 3 recently and I like how the graphics in this game looks like the graphics in bg3, very modern and up to date. But I believe this videogame will be way better as it's an MMORPG. Can't wait for the launch to explore this new universe and experience the new era of MMORPGs.
Really love the update. One thing I'd like to see improved upon is a visual representation for the different stages of held abilities. For example Resplendent Beam can jump between 3 different targets depending on how long the ability is held on cast. The channeling bar could use some sort of lines to indicate at which point the spell will be able to jump to a second or third target. For the Deliverance spell I'm not sure if it's necessary. That is dependent on whether or not the scaling is step based like with Resplendent Beam or if it's a linear scaling. If it's linear then sectioning of the spell channeling bar isn't necessary. But if it has different points at which the scaling is increased then sectioning off the would help to know when it is okay to release the ability to get the effect we want.
I never really played healer, but I appreciate the update and especially the timing. I think the story fits and I’m looking forward to more of the changing environments
Love the Cleric update! A suggestion on the Mage... The rolling lightening ball. It just isn't doing it for me visually. I would make the spell so that the assigned key on the action bar flashes once you cast it and you can hit the button again and the ball explodes and releases a chain lightening affect on targets. I think part of problem with that spell is visually it doesn't appear to show much interaction with the targets it is hitting. Well done on the update Steven. Anxiously awaiting to play this game.
Cool showcase c= and smart design decisions as well x3 being a healer is one of my favorite things to do on MMOs and can't wait to play AoC, seeing you guys talk about MMO things and typical relationship / drama between tanks and healers helps show that this MMO got heart c= thanks for all the hard work you guys ♥
As someone who nerds out over UI stuff, I absolutely love how super clean this looks. Amazing job on the icons, textures, cast bars and the floating combat text. It is super slick
Wow this is a step forward in gameplay mechanics. Very impressive. Variability is lovely. Perhaps 1/3 of the health bar in temp health, or an ability to increase that if not too much time to do.
Combat looks better every stream and If I give my 2 cents, I was wondering if there would be Mob traits in the future, random traits apply to mobs when they spawn, ex: fire resistance, Always target healer, calls for backup mob, CC mob, random traits that makes the combat more engaging cuz you don't know what trait they have until it manifests it self, some fun twist in pve.
Simply amazing showcase. I am fully onboard for utility friendly kits classes will have. Having a robust repertoire of spells to combine and get creative with is a game changer.
I could have missed it but I didn’t see a lot of synergy among the spells. From the top of my head there’s that one off global cooldown and the dash + heal but it would be great to see stuff like (and this is just an example): ability “X” heals more if the target ally has a HOT. Other than that, absolutely fantastic showcase.
Being a healer main for decades now I love the extra resource. I love seeing a good amount of different heals, hots, charges, aoe, conal. I am even more excited for this game. Every monthly update never disappoints.
Yeah I love that there will be many ways to play cleric. Not just "You're a burst healer now. Get used to it." They mentioned that normally you won't have all the abilities. You'd get only a handful of them and really spec into those specifically. So I'm assuming you get to adjust between spreading yourself thin with variety or really focusing on particular types. Like I know I'd enjoy focusing mostly on duo style.. so like mend, healing touch, the wings, etc. Because I mostly play games with a friend or two. It makes me curious how freely we can switch our skills though. Because I'd like to be able to switch to more party oriented healing when necessary for raids, dungeons, etc. Then on that note if it does work that way there better be loadouts you can set..
@@lawmagejusticiar They stated a while ago you'll be able to change your subclass in safe zones. We're not entirely sure about how the skills themselves will work though. With how much they focus on freedom of agency for players they'll likely allow you to change practically everything when in a safe zone.
I _love_ how powerful Deliverance feels, it's got such _weight_ and impact to it, and the animation is appropriately dramatic considering you're taking a buddy from near death to 60%+ health. I can already tell Deliverance is going to be my favourite healing spell. Honestly, you guys are crushing it- keep up the great work! Sidenote: I love how cool the wizard looks in combat; those wand animations are awesome, reminds me of the duels in the later Harry Potter movies which, visually, were very cool (even if they weren't lore friendly :P).
Wow! I must say this has gotten me very excited for the potential fun to be had on healing classes. Amazing progress on the Cleric. Now here's some more detailed feedback: First of all, right out the gate the spell icons look top notch! These seem like a higher level of quality than the spell icons we saw for the mage. In particular the consistent colour scheme is really satisfying that class identity itch. They have cleric written all over whilst looking vibrant and varied. Fantastic! Now, with regard to the spell effects themselves, overall every effect is looking pretty darn great, but one thing I'm finding quite jarring is the use of refraction/heat haze type visuals. A prime example of this is Communal Restoration. The casting effect and initial burst look great, but after each player has been healed, there are these refractive shards that appear to hover around the player for a moment and then shrink inwards. Honestly this part of the effect looks kind of glitchy and in my opinion just adds visual clutter. In that particular case, I wouldn't be opposed to that part of the effect being removed completely, or reworked perhaps so that the refraction is a more general haze around the player as opposed to these glass-like shards. Many of the other spells use a similar effect but more subtly and were far less jarring as a result. However I do think it could be reduced across the board. I also want to praise the casting effect on Judgement. That blue wispy flame emanating from the casters hand, coupled with the blue glow lighting the player is just *chef's kiss*. Beautiful! Lastly, as many others have noted, I do think the overall brightness and bloom of these effects is a little high. Fantastic job Intrepid! Keep it up. We're all routing for you :)
"I brought some additional mobs" "Oh, God" Steven always make me laugh during these. The Cleric is looking amazing and progress has been fantastic. I'm REALLY looking forward to this world.
Thank you for the update, I'm really excited to see the way you continue to develop Cleric :) Regarding the question of feedback (13:20-14:00), I absolutely adore and completely agree that giving spells different functionalities per situation is incredibly meaningful, and I love any game that does that. It definitely lets me flex game knowledge/depth of knowledge and decision making. As such, thank you. My main feedback would be to make sure that the decisions are 'Meaningful' either way. For instance, in this video, in what situation would I use the chain heal spell as a single target heal over one of my other heals? I think that, if one of the choices is lacklustre, or doesn't compare to another option, it could potentially impact the 'meaningfulness' of choosing which spell. Specifically for the beam, I think that it could probably have a minimum of 2 or 3 targets to chain, to keep its identity, with it being able to chain up to a large number (or potentially bounce back, depending on charge, could even have a spell or way that marks a target to be prioritised for bouncing back to) Thank you again, the design direction is looking super interesting, can't wait to see more!
Amazing baseline healer work! Spells are complex enough to feel varied, but not too much to be confusing. Very curious to see what ya'll do with some quality of life things, like incoming healing indicators on a friendly player's health bar, but this is a fantastic start.
I've never really liked healers in MMORPGs but after watching these Dr. Fate's animations, visual effects and skill uses now I wanna try them. Really nice. I believe that's the impression that all classes should give. So cool that you'd want to use them even if you're not used to them
Iplayed Cleric Healer in New World and love it in all games. I must admit this update is a huge upgrade to the last cleric video and also the offensive and the defensive mechanism seems fun to watch and they look satisfiying❤
I've been watching every month's video updates. I have been looking forward to playing AoC for a long time, but this is the first time a video of the game play has made me feel giddy. It's looking so good!!!! Please keep up the good work team!!!!! Thoughts: 1. Looks like there is a pathing glitch with the wolf that was under the outdoor cover. around 42:00~ 2. I personally loved finding little chests in WoW, at random places tucked away on the outdoor world. Adds to the excitement of exploring. 3. Is there a way to increase the GUI health bar width/height. 4. Love that you can move around the UI!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG ITS HAPPENING!!!!
I agree so much! When they were fighting those wolves I was thinking to myself "Damn, I want to play that right now!". If the whole game is up to this standard, I think I'm going to enjoy myself playing this game for a long time.
@@yorth8154 Yeah you can tell this game is actually being created by devs that understand MMOs and have played them before. They're actually making a very immersive world that you're going to want to just spend time in. Not something you'll want to just speed through to the "end game". More like you'll just enjoy exploring and seeing the world. Feeling like you're a part of it.
One of the best Cleric’s I have seen in any MMO!!! You have a ton of options and I’m sure we will get amazing build diversity to play with! I can’t wait for this game… lol you guys done yet? 😂 great work guys!
Really loved the inclusion of more melee focused abilities and the gap closer. The changing of pace and mobility made the cleric look FAR more interesting and fun to play, amazing job.
This is absolutely awesome. The dynamic use cases bring a depth that is so much deeper than even the hardest MMOs out there. This is incredible, I’m sos toked for alpha 2 phase 1
Great to see my 2nd Favorite Class getting much love, Raids in this game will become something of Dreams. Something I had noticed, when sitting down, would it be cool if you have campfire kits you can use to boost health and mana regen. This can also be used to cook food and refresh yourself with a campsite buff for 10 to 20mins. Hope to see Bard next.
Looks good. My 2c for next spell effect pads, the guardian spirit’esque ability Defiant Light needs a noticeable flashy spell effect so people 1. Know when it’s up and no one else needs to use it or an equivalent ability 2. Know that it was you who made the pro play that saved the tank or whatever target that was about to die. Guardian spirit had a great and uninvasive spell effect that let everyone know an important piece of information without needing to look at raid frames necessarily. Good for all bigger cooldowns/big save abilities.
Incredible Alpha 2 showing. The design ideas mix extremely well and demonstrate the design team’s efforts to make abilities special and not simply “spend time and mana and get health”. Theres considerations, like placement, timing, range, front-end, back-end, efficiency versus emergency, cooldowns vs. consistency. It creates a wonderful balance of options and I can imagine this impacting player choice in a really interesting way. I LOVED the wings+close range heal combos that looked so fun! Dynamic movement options for offensive and defensive gameplay with that. Awesome job! Really looking forward to seeing how these options expand with the class system implementations in the (distant 😅) future!
I started playing MMORPGS with Everquest in 1999. I played several others including Dark Ages of Camelot, Age of Conan and World of Warcraft. I have not played in many years, but from the preview videos all I can say is... Wow. This game looks like everything the core mmorpg'ers ever wanted as well as things we did not even know we needed! Amazing job thus far!
The best healer presentation I have seen in any game, and I started with UO and EQ at 1999. I was so very impressed. Testing for balancing is all you need and Alpha 2 is the best route. I approve ;) My only unknown after the stream was related to why choose certain skills. For example, as an AoE healer I remember the 4 skills you showed with AoE flavor. One was general without positioning, one with delayed ground marker, and one with a positional arc that can also damage. Makes sense. The fourth though "Resplendent Beam" which requires a charge, wasn't clear to me as to why and when. In any case, this is so amazing. The community will love to test things while you balance an area or a class. Make Zak/Asmon wrong about it releasing in 2026! Thank you.
the variety of the spell and the 1+ uses sounds and look very interesting. It's not like spam this one spell what may make the healer roll more dynamic and flexible for a certain situation. Great work !
Great showcase! IMO healing specifically, feels better as a more tab-focused playstyle like this. Adding velocity to some of the healing spells as well as having the option to instant cast or charge some spells, is a great way to make things more exciting, fun and responsive while leaning into tab-targeting for those more supportive roles.
Looks amazing to me. I particularly like the blur effect from Communal Resteration, which amplifies the impact. Also, I like the idea of Deliverance, which spices up the interaction between healer and group alot more, and makes the class fundamentally more interesting than generic healers. Environment and enemies look absolutely stunning and really invite the player to explore the world. You´re perfectly on track! Keep going and this game will be setting new standards!
Apart from the visual content, one thing I enjoy the most listening to these is how passionately, competently and experienced these devs sound. The snippets of engineering design I pick-up sounds so interesting. Story Arcs, that respond to the overall State of the world. I'd love to see that State Machine code 😂
I really like the idea of splitting based on people healed. It's not something you want on every skills, but it makes it still usable for solo/small groups and not OP for large groups.
It was really nice to see that you actually need to use your brain and think on the go during the fights using all your ability for the situation, their is nothing more boring than the tank just pulling everything and just killing them like every other mmo at the moment.
What a excellent show people. Thank yoy so much for this quality of content. This is for much a niceeee update for cleric. That fenomenal and really good job. Keep it up!
So much better gameplay then in the showcase in the graveyard one. So much improvment. Spell effect outstanding, quite a good balance for pre-aplha 2, interesting combos and spells, which enable unique rotation. I can see how mastering a cleric can be a challenge. I would love more offensive spells, maybe some sort of shadowform and shadow spells, since in the game will not be warlock. I dont think the area was that easy, maybe it seemed that way, but i supposed you are fully max out, have a excellent gier so. Great job, keep it up!
This update had me Hooked! I've honestly never liked healing but now im highly considering playing the Cleric. This class seems like it'll be very valued within the party i love the heals over time oh man im so keen to get my hands on this game
Hi, one of my personal favourites as a healer was being able to wade into combat and every succesful hit was healing people around me a little bit. Cant wait for the alpha.
Thank you! I enjoyed it even though I am not a healer player and probably that might have to do with why I didn't really notice any flaws other than ability cooldowns.
Great job! I like the icons on your cast bar. They really give you the feel of belonging to a healer. I also like the visual effects. They seem really nice without feeling too overpowering with visual clutter like they were last time we saw them. Toned down and yet very beautiful. I assume the updated unreal engine helps with that. ;)
Wow, this is absolutely fantastic, my friends! My guild and I are overjoyed to witness these incredible updates. We understand that patience is key, and we commend the team for their hard work and dedication. Can't wait to experience all the exciting new features!!! I agree that by giving the player versatility in making the decision for the outcome, the healer can keep his team from getting low or just one particular person.
Having heals do multiple things is nice specially if for instance. You can use the tap heal on the move in heavy movement and then can charge the chain one when you don’t need to move as much and group is taking more aoe damage. And it’s built in same skill which is nice
Wow. everything is looking great. Healer mechanics are amazing. the trade off of big heals vs time is great. Really impressive consideration to make each class fun and challenging to do well.
I love the visuals. One thing I would like to see is the tree's being a bit less static. This would feel way more immersive imo. Cleric skills and icons look awesome! -E: I meant the trunk, not the leaves.
One thing that I noticed is that the instant or shortened cast time on Resplendent Beam doesn’t really have the oomph to want to use it not as a chain. All the spells have relatively short or instant cast times, so there's not enough value from being cast quicker alone. It would be interesting as a charge count spell where the number of targets healed detemines how many charges are consumed.
Cleric seems really fun and coming together nicely. I like the idea of having abilities that deal damage in a certain way if targeting an enemy and heal when targeting an ally, more of these types of skills would make the class more fun and also more viable for solo leveling.

Glad to see you guys learned from the last cleric showcase!
We appreciate the feedback everyone gave us! 💪
@@AshesofCreation It also shows you learned from the tank showcase as there were far less agro issues and tank was able to maintain agro pretty well.
Verra needs more healers! ✨💖
I am so hyped for this!
Take all the time you need. It looks stunning. The progress you guys showcase each time is beyond me
Thank you Steven!
This has me hyped, have not been keeping up with your progress. Very impressive!
The spell effects are so beautiful... I want to try every of them xD
I really love the purple orange colors on the charge heal
I never really played healer, but I appreciate the update and especially the timing. I think the story fits and I’m looking forward to more of the changing environments
Love the Cleric update! A suggestion on the Mage... The rolling lightening ball. It just isn't doing it for me visually. I would make the spell so that the assigned key on the action bar flashes once you cast it and you can hit the button again and the ball explodes and releases a chain lightening affect on targets.
I think part of problem with that spell is visually it doesn't appear to show much interaction with the targets it is hitting.
Well done on the update Steven. Anxiously awaiting to play this game.
looks really great, the progress you guys have made is really impressive!
Ashes of Creation ambience is just a dream, great job Intrepid cant thank you enough
looks really great!!! watched everything i have no added notes for this one, so much fun watching you guys do the quest at the end
I like the UI , its simple. As a restoration druid in wow, I'd like to try the Cleric in your Game. Love the Sounds and the Animations.
Okay something has clicked. the game is looking brilliant and very clean. clear improvement on other showcases, so great progress guys!
I like the held abilities. Gives you more options without having to use more keybinds
Cope much? Combat looks like garbage, complete trash. Looks like a korean f2p MMO
Big props to your mount designers
Simply amazing showcase. I am fully onboard for utility friendly kits classes will have. Having a robust repertoire of spells to combine and get creative with is a game changer.
Words cannot express my desire to visit and adventure in Verra!
@@Eventide215 I believe they stated you can respec in towns or something.
Now here's some more detailed feedback:
First of all, right out the gate the spell icons look top notch!
This is amazing guys - I'm eso fan and playing eso since the release . I played most of MMORPG games but what you are doing is another level.
Love how you're not afraid to allow players take responsibility
agency is king!
"I brought some additional mobs"
"Oh, God"
Steven always make me laugh during these. The Cleric is looking amazing and progress has been fantastic. I'm REALLY looking forward to this world.
Thank you for the update, I'm really excited to see the way you continue to develop Cleric :)
Regarding the question of feedback (13:20-14:00), I absolutely adore and completely agree that giving spells different functionalities per situation is incredibly meaningful, and I love any game that does that.
Specifically for the beam, I think that it could probably have a minimum of 2 or 3 targets to chain, to keep its identity, with it being able to chain up to a large number (or potentially bounce back, depending on charge, could even have a spell or way that marks a target to be prioritised for bouncing back to)
Thank you again, the design direction is looking super interesting, can't wait to see more!
Top Tier Cleric gameplay by Steven
I so far love where you are taking the cleric right now. The different ways to cast spells is amazing, I love the chooses and challenges of healing.
Amazing baseline healer work! Spells are complex enough to feel varied, but not too much to be confusing. Very curious to see what ya'll do with some quality of life things, like incoming healing indicators on a friendly player's health bar, but this is a fantastic start.
Animations and VFX looks amazing on the cleric, clean!
I've never really liked healers in MMORPGs but after watching these Dr. Fate's animations, visual effects and skill uses now I wanna try them. Really nice.
I believe that's the impression that all classes should give. So cool that you'd want to use them even if you're not used to them
This game is shaping up to be a phenom just like how Wow was back in '08, '09!
I cannot wait for this game
Iplayed Cleric Healer in New World and love it in all games. I must admit this update is a huge upgrade to the last cleric video and also the offensive and the defensive mechanism seems fun to watch and they look satisfiying❤
I've been watching every month's video updates. I have been looking forward to playing AoC for a long time, but this is the first time a video of the game play has made me feel giddy. It's looking so good!!!!
Please keep up the good work team!!!!!
Thoughts:
1. Looks like there is a pathing glitch with the wolf that was under the outdoor cover. around 42:00~
This was awesome, everytime more impressive too see your creation improving.
I caught the last 5 mins of the showcase and even in alpha this game looks better than most mmos out right now
I agree so much!
Loved the video healers will an always play a big part but you still got love that mage animations I was hypnotized hahaha
Looks good. My 2c for next spell effect pads, the guardian spirit’esque ability Defiant Light needs a noticeable flashy spell effect so people
1. Know when it’s up and no one else needs to use it or an equivalent ability
2. Know that it was you who made the pro play that saved the tank or whatever target that was about to die.
Guardian spirit had a great and uninvasive spell effect that let everyone know an important piece of information without needing to look at raid frames necessarily. Good for all bigger cooldowns/big save abilities.
Absolutely killing it! Great job!
Really awesome Showcase ! the color variants of the Environment are getting better and better ! i love the bright colors of the Spells. very cool :)
The best healer presentation I have seen in any game, and I started with UO and EQ at 1999. I was so very impressed. Testing for balancing is all you need and Alpha 2 is the best route. I approve ;)
My only unknown after the stream was related to why choose certain skills.
Everything looks great! But I am wondering when we are gonna see the other classes like Bard, Rogue, and Summoner?
I love how you've taken the time and thought about the down time issues alot of casters have in mmos with the common rotations.
Cleric seems like it will be a very fun healer class
What a excellent show people. Thank yoy so much for this quality of content. This is for much a niceeee update for cleric. That fenomenal and really good job. Keep it up!
Is Deliverance calculating the health of the target as it finishes the cast or the moment you start charging?
Would be cool if the bubbles interact with a visual effect when they touch. Even better if they were like electrons and repel :)
Hi, one of my personal favourites as a healer was being able to wade into combat and every succesful hit was healing people around me a little bit. Cant wait for the alpha.
PLEASE NO GLOBAL COOLDOWNS I BEG YOU THE MOMENT YOU GUYS MENTIONED I GOT CHILLS.
Thank you! I enjoyed it even though I am not a healer player and probably that might have to do with why I didn't really notice any flaws other than ability cooldowns.
them graphics....soo good
Great job! I like the icons on your cast bar. They really give you the feel of belonging to a healer. I also like the visual effects. They seem really nice without feeling too overpowering with visual clutter like they were last time we saw them. Toned down and yet very beautiful. I assume the updated unreal engine helps with that. ;)
I loved the impromtu RP at 4:10 lmao
Wow, this is absolutely fantastic, my friends! My guild and I are overjoyed to witness these incredible updates. We understand that patience is key, and we commend the team for their hard work and dedication. Can't wait to experience all the exciting new features!!! I agree that by giving the player versatility in making the decision for the outcome, the healer can keep his team from getting low or just one particular person.
We are glad to hear you and your guild are excited! 😁💖
Having heals do multiple things is nice specially if for instance. You can use the tap heal on the move in heavy movement and then can charge the chain one when you don’t need to move as much and group is taking more aoe damage. And it’s built in same skill which is nice
Cleric looks AMAZING.
I wasn't planning on playing Cleric, but this update has me seriously reconsidering. The kit looks so fun.
Wow. everything is looking great.
Anyone else watching this again after the fighter showcase? Super excited to see how the updates treat what we’ve seen so far here
The views look amazing, i love how sun rays hit the trees.
Awesome update. The cleric spells and the environment in this video looks polished and ready to ship! 🎉
Wow, this make me want playing a cleric. Finally healing feels like and active and engaging gameplay. GREAT job.
