I have relaxed my hair using dark n lovely relaxer. so my hair permanently chemically straightened.

Yes so today is the day I'm going back to the creamy crack. It's dry & time consuming so I appreciate the natural journey but it's time for something different.
Having an afro is alot of admin. I got so tired I decided to loc my hair. Best decision I have ever made when it comes to hair care
I think that’s in my future “hair plans”… we only live once so might as well loc that hair. I’m happy that you took that decision and you are happy with it 😊

You look great, I'm just a little sad that you did it but I get it, sometimes I think about getting micro locs but it feels so permanent so I do small mini braids, very easy to manage, short wash days. Enjoy your beautiful hair, wave it back and forth, enjoy the wind blowing it whichever way. Happy blessed 2023
It was a difficult decision to take, Iv been sitting on the fence about it for a full year then I just did it. I enjoy how little time I spend on my hair… but thank you so much. Have a blessed year too 😌

I'm natural and I was just thinking about relaxing or doing a keratin treatment. I think I'm gonna try the keratin treatment for now. If I relax I'll miss my curls lol..... excited for your new journey.
I’m not sure what a keratin treatment does exactly however since Iv relaxed my hair, getting ready is super quick and I don’t have a nighttime hair routine that consists of twisting my hair & getting an extra arm outwork lol! I am very excited for this 😊
