I'm 30. I've been natural my whole life, I've relaxed my hair like 5 times in my life but I started truly growing my hair in 2016. In primary I would be told I looked like a boy cause I never war ear rings and had short hair. It got to me but my mother didn't care so I had to accept it. Till now I still don't have ear piercing

Re hair products- I’ve noticed some of my favs are no scarce - eg afrobotanics and the dark n lovely hair treat 😢. I’m searching for a new conditioner - I come across dark n lovely but it’s usually the slow one and I prefer the yellow one. I tried the garnier conditioner and hated it -it’s horrible 😔😔😔.

Lol, did you check the expiry date on the hair mask? Last time i bought a product at clicks that was close to expiry date and it smelled like amasi, wasn't I mad, my money 😤

I am so glad that you are enjoying your TWA. I remember when I first went natural in 2010, I thoroughly enjoyed this stage of my hair. I could wash it as much as I wanted, styling was minimal and it was an opportunity for me to love my thick 4C hair for what it was. In hindsight,it was the beginning of a journey of self-love and acceptance. Regarding the fluff sponge, I use ot on my son's hair. I love the effect it gives. Your hair looks great.😊

That is the nice thing about short hair- less maintenance. I have had natural hair for a long and I always tell people who think about transitioning to just cut the damn hair. When you cut it you learn to enjoy and appreciate your hair more, I promise. 😅
