great games today despite losing 🙃guessed wrong a few times, but overall nice games. What's not nice here is the 4x tasteful offering. Man! the card rotted in my hand way too many times. 10x fetch + 4x baubles are just not enough. Put me back on rakdos please. 😭
That G3 vs show and tell is exactly why GB sucks. You can discard them and get cards down on board as much as you want, but you're one topdeck away from a blowout. Red has the best creatures to win the aggro game. Blue has countermagic. Green as a support color is just lackluster and doesn't do enough to stop these combo decks.
@27:57, Crokeyz (and others) have been testing and Shifting Woodlands + GPG builds that just happens to Show and Tell. Even to the point of cutting Show and Tell in the mirror to allow you to solo combo. Maybe Surgical is the only way to pick apart this deck (while being on the play to Seize their Thoughts turn 1). To play against this deck, you have to remove 3 threats basically and the only clean way is Surgical Extraction.
I have been playing ritual yawg in timeless since that is my modern deck but I’m starting to get tired of matching up against mardu energy and snt. I love the deck, it has so many interesting combo lines and decision points, but Golgari/Abzan has a hard time against Goblin bombardment and omnitell Thanks for uploading so consistently! I love the idea of a B/G rock deck, but it feels underwhelming compared to Rakdos
@coreyphipps2939 the rakdos deck I played recently in lurrus with lootmonger was crazy fun. 😄
