  • Video tape from the archives of Mr. David Robbio. Rare Delta company film from 1990; not much for aircraft footage, but still a nice slice of history. Be sure to check my channel for the best in VINTAGE & RARE airliner videos! / classicairlinerfilms

Now I feel qualified to be a key part in Delta's continuing success through the 1990s

With his soothing accent, I don’t mind being lied to by this man.

Glad you shared this. I worked for Worldspan for 10 years. Flew all the time, earned over a million airline, hotel and car points, and loved the people and the job. Miss it!

Having been located in Richmond, VA, Delta used to be my airline of choice for convenience mostly, but I truly enjoyed my experience flying with it. With its hubs in Atlanta and Cincinnati, I had so many great options with very few inconveniences to travel to anywhere in the world I wanted to go. However, with its merger with Northwest, too many of my options went away. Indeed I am being selfish and I am certain that its merger decision made the best financial sense, but I still cannot long for those "good ole days" when my travel plans were so much simpler. However, I am certain that there are American and United customers who share my same woes.
Nevertheless, thank-you for this post. I am interested to hear more comments, especially those regarding what I have written.

I believe he was talking about flights across the Pacific, not necessarily on the Pacific coast.
