Firstly, arm swings are slopy, arms not straight or shoulder height, bad dressings, bad pacings. Everything in this video would not be accepted in the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force. It's actually ridiculous that they are corporals who are aspiring to be sergeants.
@@frosty_mikeseedyonfn5619 Please read my comment again "chap." I said nothing about their cane drill. I'm talking about their arm swings and dressings. There is no way you pass star 1 and don't know how to swing your arms shoulder height as well as take your dressings properly while marching. if you are training for star 3 your personal drill should be seemless as well almost perfect. Have a great rest of day "chap."
Need to learn how to do basic drill first before doing this. Shite dressing, pace, elbows bent. One dude wasn’t even in-line at 0:20. Left Sea Cadets nearly 10 years ago our juniors could do basic drill better than this.
if these are "3 star" cadets then im shocked by how bad their marching was. almost feels like they intentionally picked out the WORST attempt. our recruits are at this level of drill and they only started a month ago and these guys have been doing this for years@@clyde2598
Honestly, if i were the one who went through the drill properly with them through theory, demonstration and by numbers, and they performed this sloppy... they would have 1 more chance to fix that hideous form, after that they get pushups and laps followed by 1 final correction... 🧐 Seems the instructor rushed through explaining and demonstrating to them.. smh🙄
@@JayEssPeewatch what you insinuate and check your sources, these are not canadian cadets, and are wearing completely different uniforms. This is from a English channel of English cadets.
FFS! Who is teaching these kids this BLX? First off, none of them are porting the pace STICK (It should remain parralel to the ground either under the arm or in the hand ) The Girl in the front who incidentally has a shorter marching pace anyway is holding it like a sweeping broom, her own personal drill is not in any drill book I ever read. STOP putting this crap on public view it’s embarrassing to real soldiers
@@Fbo194 ehh, the first day i started learning, all instructors made sure we do it perfectly step by step. So much so that even our battalion commander threatened to strip our rank if we held or used it wrong. Even the baby steps should have standards.

@@JayEssPeechap? You angry little man. You’re a cadet, playing soldiers. Give it a break you sprog.
They’re not aspiring corporals or sergeants. They are members of a military themed youth club. They don’t need canes.
@@bernardquatermass4418 the JCCF is a military themed youth club. So no excuse.
Maybe they should just learn to march in formation first.
The way thats being taught is completely wrong. Every movement of bringing it into the trail arms should be done on the foot. Not instantly.
Please remember these are cadets under the age of 18 and most of them have never done cane drill before until this session.

Is that corporal murray or what
The fuck is that admin Jesus
Need to sort their dressing first.

im a lance corpral in british army cadets even i can teach basics to march better than that and keep the same pace
@JayEssPee fr man, bro when I was learning cane drill they would cane our a** every mess up 😂 those brit cadets have it light man
@JayEssPee that's Canadians? My bad, if it's that then they need a lot of work before coming down to the Caribbean. They'll go back home fit asf 😂

@@ImKamaliit's UK cadets actually, Canadians have both basic and advanced standards before moving forward in d&c, as well as international exchanges

They are not pace sticks, just drill canes and short ones at that. Baby steps first old boy.

Dreadful march discipline, cant even get the basics correct.
