A cool strat for Katilda and Lier is self-mill. Fill your deck with those impulse effects that fill your graveyard like Mulch and Grapple with the Past (lots of these cards were originally printed in Innistrad for thematic coherence). This gives you lots of Instants and Sorceries to target in your graveyard while digging for your favorite humans. And then because you're milling deceptively fast with cheap spells you can win with Innistrad favorite Laboratory Maniac. A sick card for the deck is Kellan, the Kid (who is a human in addition to being Oko's love child). Because he triggers whenever you cast a spell outside of your hand -- like a spell from your graveyard with Flashback -- you can cast another human from your hand for free, triggering Katilda and Lier to get another Flashback spell, to trigger Kellan again for another free human, and very quickly dump your hand.
I have a K&L deck and Kellan puts in WORK! 2 more sleepers are 1) Portal Manipulator: you get to redirect attackers to another opponent in combat. 2) Peer Pressure: Choose a creature type. If you control more creatures of that type than each other player, you gain control of all creatures of that type. I was able to yoink +72/+72 Syr Gwyn from a voltron deck and steal the game.
Nice to see some classics. I just made myself a Lovisa Coldeyes deck and lets be real - you shoot your shot with Lovisa and get the old cold eye you're gonna rope quicker than a kiki-jiki combo.
great vid as always. one thing i think´d be really cool would be a showcase of a nicky g deck or maybe a bunch of them with a quick lore overview. i would love to see wqhat the man himself plays.
