It might be doing that because of the stage name changes, if you go look into surge’s super description, it describes stage 2 as stage 1, stage 3 as 2 and stage 4 as 3. Idk why they changed that, but they changed the star power desciption too and for some reason it doesnt work
Its something like from rank to tier, no one gives a shit but this change actually affects the gameplay

Weirdly enough in the battle at the end the stage 1 surge actually has the stage 2 speed for some reason. Curious to see if upgrading again would give him stage 3

@@HelixBrawlStarssurge doesn’t have 4 stages. It’s always been 3. The single arrow is basically “stage 0”
