I have one big question
How and Why did she fall in love for him? The only encounter near the beginning was her mistaking him as “Ri-Kuns” Girlfriend. And that’s it really, we have no idea why she fell in love with him SPECIFICALLY, we don’t see the MC doing anything to her before they met with the apologetic cake and him passing out of the drug.
He's just a mark, a victim. Rationalizing it at this point won't help until more exposition is given.
Just a theory but I assume she was never really Rikkun's girlfriend. And made up a believable story in order to trick the mc. The mc never got to see the man himself move out of the house which makes me think he was never real in the first place. Yue probably developed feelings for him from a different time yet to be explained which is why she did all of this

Isn’t that normal? Like, normally a girlfriend or wife would go out together (at least the ones I know, it saves time, though I did have one who did it in a sorta stalkerish way because they were paranoid of something bad happening, it was weird, but eh, OCD, losing people, and such stuff, so it made sense)
Also sometimes what seems like stalkers are just people on the same route or similar to your own, or it’s in a small city/town, especially if you live very close to each other

A quick PSA: Ladies and Gentlemen. Contrary to popular belief, having a stalker is one of, if not THE most, terrifying experience. If you do not reciprocate the stalker's affections towards you, it can progress to the point where you are terrified of sleeping because you don't know when your stalker will suddenly come, like a thief in the night to take your life.
My co-worker shared his experience with his old stalker. She would spike his beer or alcohol with Oxycodone, then lead him to her truck, drive out to the middle of the woods, and start riding on top of him. Yes, he was aware of her spiking his drinks. After that first time, he caught on and would pretend to drink the spiked beverage and act impaired. All because he enjoyed the ride too. She only started stalking him after he tried to cut ties with her. No matter where he went she would somehow track him down, be it a new town or halfway across the U.S. to a new state. Top that all off with the fact that she ALWAYS, somehow, got a spare key to his residence. Even if he had a locksmith change the locks, she would con the locksmith into giving her the spare.
Apparently things were so bad that on more than a few occasions when he'd wake up from his naps his stalker would be standing right there in his window staring at him.

The most important thing in a lot of fiction like this, especially in anime, is that it's not real. That's why most people enjoy it because it's so divorced from reality.
This right here is why you don't stick your dick in crazy. If someone is clearly unhinged you draw the line as EARLY as possible and don't lead them on. Sure they might still stalk you but it's better to have more precautions and stop them from having any leverage over you whatsoever.
