Javier absolutely killed it in Dune part 2. Oscar worthy support role in my opinion. Can't wait to see more of his work. He was terrifying in No Country For Old Men. But he shows a completely different side in Dune. Amazing actor!
@@ericg1100 Interesting, but does he have dialogue in English? On RUclips, clips from the movie shows he speaks spanish, with a word or two in English in a scene or two.
What an absolutely amazing and powerful performance by Javier Bardem in Dune 2 . I am saying it here, he’s going to win an for 2024 Oscar Best Supporting Actor.
Timothee is doing a great job, but I must say that Javier Bardem is carrying with his depiction of Stilgar. I'm willing to watch a mini-series on the character if they ever create it and he's acting.
I don’t think he has enough screen time win an Oscar :(( He absolutely killed it and if he had more screen time I would agree 💯 % but I don’t think he does Sadface because he really deserves it ://
Javier nailed his role in Dune part one. Nailed it. Been a long time since I was excited to see a film . Long time. Great job to all the cast. The film will stand long after we are all gone. It is the star wars of the new millennium. Just as star wars is to 1977, Dune is at that level for 2024.
This man is such a delight, relieving and liberating to listen to, simply lures with his simplicity, honesty and amusing stories even if they are about the most irrelevant things. Literally I could talk to him for three days without stopping and it wouldn't be enough ❤
One of my favorite roles of his is probably one of his smallest roles, but he was intense. The calm before the storm if you will. The role is Felix from "Collateral".
Javier Bardem was incredible and an Inspiration. He totally sold me with his character in Dune . I was so moved with his Performance that I was in Tears . So great !
The accent he does for Stilgar on its face appears almost like a generic, 'tribal brown person' accent, but it's actually genius the more I listen, consider how Frank Herbert imagined world languages and cultures to converge, and how the actor produced that to a tee. Stilgar's voice is somewhere between Russian, Arabic, Israeli, and all the cultures in-between... I cannot place his accent; I assume it would belong somewhere in Uzbekistan as a median point. I can now imitate this accent, which I didn't think I could at first, but it's just genius.
Why do you need to know whose idea it was for him to have that haircut? Do you think that things could have turned out differently? That it could have been some other haircut? What does that even mean? There is no other haircut. There is just the hair. You’re asking that he alters reality. You understand?
Hands down the most surprising performance in Dune part 2 for me, he was so unexpectedly funny
...as it was written
@@HeatSeeker19lol it's a meme
Never missed a chance to chant "Lisan Al Gaib!" 😂
You are right, he added a lot to the film. It would have been too grim otherwise. Like LOTR without the dwarf being thrown

One of the finest actors of our generation.

This man terrified me in No Country For Old Men. I forget sometimes that these actors are not who they play in films. Well not all of them at least.
was that some kind of comedy or something?
Don't forget Josh Brolin in Dune 2 too lol
@@saikou1991 You already know lol💯
I agree. That was one of the scariest characters of all time. Wow he was good in that role!
Have you heard about Perdita Durango? Loosely based on a real story. Be careful tho, some hard scenes.
Bardem's first role in English was as a scary mob boss in Collateral. Few would recognize him, but the trademark accent is there.
No it wasnt, he was in Perdita Durango in 1997 its an english movie w james gandolfini
@@ericg1100 Interesting, but does he have dialogue in English? On RUclips, clips from the movie shows he speaks spanish, with a word or two in English in a scene or two.
@@Powermass the movie is set in mexico but is spoken almost entirely in english
@@Powermass In the Spanish dubbed version of Perdita Durango, he dubbed his own voice and it was horrible 😅😅

@@DropBear_42It’s supporting actor, there’s easily enough screen time. I don’t think he’d win but he could definitely get a nomination

Bro what I did not know no country for old man played this role. Damn the night and day difference this guy is so good

Great actor big fan of his work especially as the main bad guy in Skyfall
4:05 he said everything I feel about The Joker there😂

I love Javier! Great actor, gorgeous man! Can’t wait to see Dune 2! ❤
Didn't know he's in Dune. 👍
He was awesome in Dune.
SStilgar is a hero to his people. What a true comment
An absolutely extraordinary actor. Mr. Javier Bardem. 👏🏻
We love you Javier. You're a great one.👍👍👍
One of my fav actors
Javier Bardem has scared me since he was in No Country for Old Men and as a Bond villain. He should be Galactus in the MCU.
Great actor. Seems cool dude too
Best part of dune part 2 imo
Fantastic actor🔥🔥🔥🔥
A classy manly man.
The best psychopath role I have ever seen was played by him. Just a really outstanding performance he did in No Country For Old Men.
Great actor and yes a keen rugby man too
Great to see such a masculine hetero man complementing his friends as "adorable" and "handsome". He's secure in his masculinity.
he's just spanish :) ❤
Cultist
He is one of the reasons I have become to love the villains.
Have to say he is one of the best of this generation, haven't seen one role that he played that i was less than impressed with.
Perfect casting just perfect
Would love to see him, Josh Brolin , Benicio Del Toro & Jeffrey Dean Morgan in a movie together!!! That'd be absolutely PHENOMENAL!!!
the most handsome man in the world married to the most beautiful woman in the world. aaw! mcm since day 1 and forever
didn't realise they were a couple
"Lisan Al'Gaib"
I’m in love with this man ❤❤❤
This man proves that Metalheads and Rugby players are not animals, love this guy.
"What business is it of yours how I do my workout prep, friendo?"
Would love to see Javier Bardem as King Galbatorix in the Eragon tv show!!
Oh that's FREAKY....!
I'm few years older than him, but he's right, need to workout. 👍😁
Love Javier! And Penelope, a perfect pair.
Neagan and Bardem need to meet!! ❤ I know it would jsut be fanservice but it would be so fun!
Good Actor...... 👍👍👍👍👍🙂
Imagine him knocking in your door with a coin in his hand 😯
or with that fire exqstuingisher compressed gas thing
I know Jake Gyllenhall and Javier Bardem are not related but they should do a movie like Looper as two people who are the same in time!
I could see him as a good Black Mask or Hugo Strange in the Batman world
Nice video ☺️
Great actor. Some of the best roles ever.
A brilliant actor and hubba hubba!!
Great actor
It would be awesome to see him in a juvenille comedic role.

Love his accent man is lucky to be married to Penelope Cruz too
LISAN AL GHAIB
He seems cool
Javier Bardem does not look like Jeffrey Dean Morgan to me, but Javier Bardem does look a little like Anthony Quinn.
❤❤❤❤❤
Need this guy as dr doom in the mcu reboot
'CALL IT'
Whats the most you lost in a coin toss
He is aging like fiiiiine wine
👏👏
he has fixed his nose it seems. Looking great
