Dan and Dave has one of the best, if not the best, card handling of all time. The way they handle the card, whether just doing a fidget move, cardistry, or card tricks, is like watching poetry in motion. Chris, have Dan and Dave teach on the channel again! Would love to see them more!
I remember watching this move in The System back in 2000s, if they teach flourish this way back then my life would be way more easier (if you've watch The System you know what I am talking about), anyway, very great explanation.
I've always wanted to learn The Werm. I 've seen so many tutorials but none as clearly delivered as the creator himself. When i post it on Instagram i'll be sure to tag you in it
wtfomg 18 come on mate! I clicked on the time you mentioned in the video and I expected something really complicated. But it is so SIMPLE! Chris said this is a beginner's flourish... and in Chris Ramsay I believe.
Holy shit that was frustrating... after few hours I managed to do it correctly but GOD DAMN the satisfaction and smile on my face was worth it! 1 week into cardistry and I can't wait to learn more. Thanks for that tutorial, definitely gonna stay on your channel for longer
There was at least 7 hours of "I don't understand, what am I missing?" Before I managed to do this. I still don't know what I'm missing, but I'm hitting it every 10th attempt 😂
Oh man! while watching this tutorial I've created a little variation of THE WERM which looks pretty dope. It looks like an "angel" and is pretty easy to get into this positon and has a nice looking display, Thanks !
When You have THE WERm position. You rotate cards held by right hand around the left hand. So the pivit point is your pinky of the left hand. Then continue rotating and transfer the pivit point to the 4th finger of the left hand. And have the second display. When piviting back. You loosen your grip with the right hand and the card which was the middle card before naturally slips a little inside the main packet held by the right hand. So you now have 2 cards sticking out of that packet and when u add an unfinished scissor cut with your left hand it makes a pretty good display of 5 face up cards
@zeliumite so lets name packets so it will be easier to follow. When You have WERM display Your left hand holds packet 1 and packet 2 ( one is closest to your thumb. packet 3 is the single card between hands. packet 4 is main packet in right hand. packet 5 is the single card most extended on your right hand.
I would really wish if you could go back to your old school videos, when you just like solve puzzles, cards, and just going around doing anything related to ^^^
One more tip, as you practice - change the angle you are looking at it. looking at the front? observe the back and vice versa. Become acquainted with how the cards move and the pressures in your grips. and also have fun. important part :):)
I am running into the issue of the top card snagging on my thumb due to mispositioning. Would it be possible for you to do a video showing a breakdown of the most adequate finger/thumb placements for this flourish?
I definitely gained more Patience in starting Cardistry. Its the curiousity and the excitement of doing the Forms are exciting and very tiring for the fingers lol
Chris, awesome video as always! Defo will be learning how to do that, just starting to get into cardistry and boy is it fun :D A bit of a long shot, but, by any chance what is the track that you used at the start of the video? I would imagine it is from Epidemic Sound -- I would very much like to use it in one of my personal projects :)
Who used this display as a profile pic before? (I'm Guilty)
Chris Ramsay me 😂😂
Meeeeee!! haha
Well I'm about to once I learn it!
I did but I used a seven pack variation
I will be soon lol
When you just started learning cardisty last night and this comes up in your feed 🙏
Save for later and keep practicing the basics to keep from drowning! LOL
me too
@@ceoofme2771 omg i just started last night
I started like 5 years ago lol, but I figured why not get back into cardistry again
@@DogeFrom2014 are u pro ??
More dan and dave tutorials pls
They are such good teachers...
No they're not good teachers
They’re bad
I’m slowly learning cardistry and it took roughly a week to pull off the final move of this flourish. Thanks for the tutorial Chris.
Free Tutorial - Good quality, good cinematography, good explanation, good angle
Paid tutorial - silent tutorial, bad angle, ok quality
how is seeing a tutorial from a spectator's perspective a good angle? The angle is horrible for learning. Need to see it from Daves eyes.
@@jebediahblingfield8772 yeah, exactly
lmao they probably meant the exact opposite ;)
Every time I watch magic videos I always end up coming back to your channel before being truly satisfied in what I've learned.

Dave's eyes rarely blink and I'm mesmerized when he's teaching stuff even back then on the trilogy and then some. Man crush lol
What amazes me the most is how well he does the pressure fans. Oh my God they are so clean.
It just took me 2 hours, to watch an 8 minute video...
fr same but im just at the halfway part
this took me like 20 minutes
my problem was that I'd follow along and then lose my grip on the cards waiting for the next position lmao
Only two
NeverRests ._. Yea and also little fingers are shit
As a 2 week cardistry beginner this was really a good tutorial in my reange of skills, Thanks a lot guys!
Don't know how but learned it under an hour.....
You guys are excellent teachers, I have to admit!
I saw this moove so much time before and I always want to learn it ! Perfet timing as always ! Ty Chris and Dace ! Love you !
Hi Chris I hope you can read this message. You inspired me to start doing magic and cardistry. Thank you for introduce me to such a wonderful world.
cool now i have 2 worms i can play with daily
Mark F. 😂😂😂😂
lol
You should probably go get that checked buddy
What’s the second worm?🤔
a sausage
Tips for doing this, when doing the Z shape make sure your cards are above your right thumbnail so that its easier to move the deck
I remember watching this move in The System back in 2000s, if they teach flourish this way back then my life would be way more easier (if you've watch The System you know what I am talking about), anyway, very great explanation.

I was able to learn this practicing every morning for 5 days. still not crazy smooth like him but that's what practice does :) thanks a ton!
Ah love that guy.. could already do the werm tho but now the creator teaches it so that's cool for the people that have yet to learn this iconic
This is the best tutorial I've ever seen no joke, its so clear
one of my first and favorite card flourishes, and the extended bit with 2 extra packets is nice too
The song is : Ricochet By Oomiee
Thank you so mouch!
im already seeing myself getting a small depression over trying to get this done
gonna correct myself: after 4:19 i already have a depression
wtfomg 18 XD
Dude same
If you can do the sybil cut you wont have a problem handling this and search ben wade flourish. This two flourish would be ideal to help you out.
wtfomg 18 come on mate! I clicked on the time you mentioned in the video and I expected something really complicated. But it is so SIMPLE! Chris said this is a beginner's flourish...
and in Chris Ramsay I believe.
Can’t wait to see you again G, you helped me look at my work differently, appreciate everything.
+Chris Millon 🙌
It was a pleasure talking to you man, it’s been real!
Took me like 15mins to get it down! Absolutely thrilled, this is the stuff that feeds motivation for my cardistry
Man this was awesome. Thank you to Dan and Dave for this.
Holy shit that was frustrating... after few hours I managed to do it correctly but GOD DAMN the satisfaction and smile on my face was worth it! 1 week into cardistry and I can't wait to learn more. Thanks for that tutorial, definitely gonna stay on your channel for longer
Learned this in less than 2 hours, great tutorial thank you!
Nice man that's record time lmao took me a solid 3 days to master getting into the middle stage anyway hope u are still doing cardistry and goodluck
I have watched many videos and tried it , but this is the one i am looking for
To move the top card of the deck with “the lightest of touches” is very tricky!! I need to just practice guys yeah?
7:35 how insane is that flourish dude! its like the card came out of nowhere
One of the best tutorials soo far👍
Like the video. Cool trick. Always wanted to learn how to do it.
There was at least 7 hours of "I don't understand, what am I missing?" Before I managed to do this. I still don't know what I'm missing, but I'm hitting it every 10th attempt 😂
I just learned this the hard way yesterday!!! I wish I learned it from YOU! Way better! Keep it up!!
I've watched so many video's trying to figure out how to something like this and I finally found one I can understand cheers dude 👍😂
This video is the only good thing that’s happened to me this Monday.
thanks bro, i thought this move was a really hard one, but now... i can almost do it! in a couple of days i probably will be able to.
Honest to god the only reason why i got this down in less than a week is because of how detailed this video is ...
Daaammnn!!! I love itttt!!! Please make some more cardistry tutorials Chris!
This was really great, I hope you get more cardistry guests.
Buck Twins and Daniel Madison are some of the greatest modern creators of our time.
Omg thanks so much this made my card flourish’s go from 0 to 100
Dave explained it really well and made it easy for me to learn it as it took me only 10 minutes to 'master' it😁
I feel great learning something new. I learned this in half an hour 👌
Thank you soooooo much love it! So happy I can do this
Love Dave Buck!
when i see the title
the werm --> meh
but then "Dave Buck" --> click
Thoi Manh yeah same. Plus its nicer to learn things from the creators themselves
this tutorial with moving camera is awesome.
Thank you Chris cardistry is my favorite
My hands are cramping from just watching this tutorial
I remember this flourish introduced in Dan and Dave Buck’s the System DVD
As someone that's new to this..
Me: *watching **2:41* what the hell is this wizardry?
Best tutorial ever thanks for posting it
I can't believe how easy this actually is

Man sorry but i dont get what you mean in your explanation
zeliumite which part you dont understand
What exactly is pivoting where
@zeliumite so lets name packets so it will be easier to follow. This video got me into cardistry

Thank you, I seen this flourish in the virtuoso liquid paper video and have wanted to know how to do it ever scince, I am complete
I would really wish if you could go back to your old school videos, when you just like solve puzzles, cards, and just going around doing anything related to ^^^

nice tutorial bro and i'm sure you will make people excited
Dave is super sick!
I am running into the issue of the top card snagging on my thumb due to mispositioning. Would it be possible for you to do a video showing a breakdown of the most adequate finger/thumb placements for this flourish?

A female magician from a magic group in the Philippines taught me this way back in 2008. 😁
6:20 my thumb actually gripped a seven of clubs
Love this one

You mention at the start this was created by Dan & Dave. Ive seen Jerry Sadowitz doing this, possibly before they were born...
Chris, awesome video as always! thats a really good master class for beguiners
Honestly, I don't like the moving camera angles. It's very confusing. Overall, it was a great tutorial.
Great tutorial
Legends! All of you 💙
Sir Chris please teach the muse cut and after that teach judo flip
It took me 2 hours to get this once im proud of myself
