2024, just wanted to double check if these guys actually existed or if this was a weird fever dream I had. I swear their career was like.... this... and then they just went "never mind" and disappeared again
oh thats rad i'd never heard of these dudes, not a big synth pop fan tbh lol. hella talented regardless tho, were chairlift interviewed that night too? cos that would make it slightly less funny but still chuckle worthy at AD even coming up the front and shaking MJs hand too ahahahha
To be fair to Conan, The drummer and the rapper on the right switch places midway through the song and Michael Jackson’s ghost didn’t show up till halfway through. I don’t think Conan was being deliberately disrespectful as much as he was dealing with the talkshow equivalent of Three Card Monty.
I remember watching this as a high schooler all those years ago. I thought I was so weird for enjoying it so much. But now I’m old and I still think it’s dope as hell!!!!
Heems should’ve came with the energy he did in the song. I really think his lack of energy in most of his performances really does a disservice to his ability.
@@m.w.r.1408lol nah they prob felt awesome. p sure they were popping pills like candy the whole time das racist was around. kool slurring his verse on conan lmao
I still wake up everyday hoping Das Racist buries the hatchet and releases an entirely El-P produced album
So does dap
i fucking lost it when he dragged his head through the keyboard
these guys were GOLD

fucking perfection in art
THE GAME WAS NEVER THE SAME
love how he walks right past ad and shakes MJs hand and some other random fill in extra
Mr Matheson the random fill in extra is the main dude from Chairlift.
ah this kind of makes it funnier to me :P. das racist so underground conan just says thanks to whatever musicians are round. bahahahha
Mr Matheson he actually produced the album too

This is Conan’s favorite song
It's like an insane ritual that summons the ghost of Michael Jackson.
as it should be.
I love this

The day team coco decides to remaster this is the day I lose my virginity.
Wish there were more live performances of these guys!
I wish they were better than this live performance.
Watching this at a combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell
Hope the combination didn't do anything too bad for your eyes
This was a higher quality performance then was expecting can't lie

Ngl they still hit
I remember seeing this when it came on lol
Me too!!!

dude was at the top of his 'third thing' era lol cut him some slack
LOL
you can really tell they didn’t wanna do it anymore in this lol
They rilly hate this lmao. Everybody but the kondabolu brother having a bad time up on stage
This was pretty good and Micheal is alive?.
He came back from the dead for this performance and died again right after.
transcendent
classic underwhelming DR live performance.
I've never seen a DR live performance where they didn't look like they wanted to die lol
I thought it was an amazing performance. Especially for a TV premiere
@@bigheavyshoe amazing? have you been in jail for the last thirty years?
@@m.w.r.1408lol nah they prob felt awesome. p sure they were popping pills like candy the whole time das racist was around. kool slurring his verse on conan lmao
idk i feel like it was p fun that they did the beat live and then brought out a michael jackson impersonator. timing was a little loose, tho
LMAOOOO
If you know you know
Who’s here in 3216?
What happened to this guys
Unfortunately they called it quits because they couldn’t pay their bills by making music.
There's a reason these guys aren't popular any more.
B L They publicly announced their breakup literally a few days later. They were just collecting a pay check by this point
@@joshuachinchilla4783 I can respect that lol.
chunky_luva damn, you are 100% right! I really thought it was that year. My bad, thanks for the correction
407.
hilarious
Brooklyn?? i thought they from Queens
Alex Hard Heems is from Flushing and Kool is from the Bay Area. They made most of their music in the Brooklyn area
A car crash
I-don't-care-rap.
Absolutely terrible performance.
And it's great
