I've been watching your videos for a few months now and let me say this: you've really made progress! I really love how this piece came put despite the bad markers. Keep it up!
To talk about the markers, in my experience, I definitely agree with your assesment of the markers bleeding too much. I do lneart first and when i try to blend it'll bleed past the lines constantly. I found it best to use these markers as companions to my other cheap markers as their colors still blended pretty well with them. (Also yes, my 2.0 fineliner was also dry when i bought my pack so its not just a you issue lol)
Ooh! Love this artwork. I LOVE 5 Below, but I haven't seen that kit. I'd get it, even though I have a ton of other stuff including some Copics. I like to play with cheap supplies, just to see how bad they really are. If I saw either of these sets, I'd get them, just to try them personally. Kinda makes me think the .2 is going to be lousy in each one though.
@@Wardrawsalot I finally found it at my local store and I can say...your review was spot on! My fine liners did NOT work in either set just like yours, they were juicy, but are just for messing around. The white pens are totally useless. The illustration markers are ok though. I think they're worth the $5...and not a penny more!
Hii I'm a new subscriber I love your videos I could watch them all day !! Even tho the set wasn't as good I still fill like u did such a great job with them u inspire me again love your art :D
Good content. Anyone into art/graphics knows they won't be quality or lightfast but as you noted, at least get a working set for the kids who will be receiving the majority of these products. That said? You sure did a nice piece with such a limited palette. Great job sir. Thanks for a fun demo
I agree they bleed, and I've also noticed that the marker nibs/tips run down suoer fast. I killed the nibs/tips after doing 2 pieces of art (the 2.0 liner was dried out for me as well lol). Overall, they are good for practicing with I think.
Oh for sure they definitely didn't have permission for the art in the back. The boy pack of markers is sought after because the two drawings in the back (the second and the ourth respectivelly) are offical artworks from the Disney Mobile game Twisted Wonderland. (Keyword: Disney) So fans of the mobile game buyy this particular pack) The third art is someones fanart of character 2. I also recognized that Froppy art by Asia Ladowska., who did draw that with markers but she uses Copics so its slightly false advertising lol Sorry I had to get that outta my system
Hello! You totally don’t need both, one is more then enough to make great art with!! I just got both cause I saw they had some different colors and to see if there were any differences between the packs! :)
Kinda laughing at the fact they put clearly digital art on a traditional art kit

I think the kit’s are fairly new so they are probably rolling them out! I hope all of the supplies work for you!! ✍🏻

I love buying cheaper art supplies because sometimes you just want to not worry about using up professional grade supplies on practice.
