I get you might just go straight into screen recording and upload raw, but having a circle of fifths to the right of the video would have been a nice touch for mobile viewers.
Not enough screen space to do that imo. But if you are streaming this to your tv from your phone like me you can see the circle of fifths in the screenshot which was helpful.
Hey Game great job on the video this knowledge is invaluable. Just wanted to let you know E sharp does exist it's just depends on the scale or chord you are building (i.e. an A augmented chord)
Just downloaded Magic Melodies and also Magic Drums. Looking forward to step up my game, specially on melodies. I'm working my way into making better melodies for Lofi, so that I don't have to use samples. I got an SP 404 SX so I can give that vintage flavor to the melodies I create.
awesome vid bro. be nice 2 get another video on the 2nd part with transposing . i really like to just go by ear 4 the most part but it be nice 2 get in the hang of understanding similar keys n variations
I like what you are doing. However, a perfect fifth is actually a 3/2 ratio, not 7 semitones which is 2^(7/12). With pure tuning, if you keep stacking perfect fifths you will never get back to where you started. (3/2)^n =/= (2/1)^n where n is some real whole number greater than 0.
In the interactive circle of fifths, based on c in major, There are f c and g under major ( major chords),d a e as minor chords and and b as diminished chord, so if I wright in c major, the I should use these chords to stay in key? am i right?
Its the most important skill to have. I myself cant read music, but developing an understanding of melody, rhythm, chord progessions etc is absolutely necessary to grow your musical ability
I like the clickbait here on youtube: Just use words like SECRETS, major MISTAKES of beginners. DIMINISHED singing skills caused by autotune. TRITONE use of samples. In one SECOND so much happens without a pause - to listen with your own taste ...
Tbh i dont need the technicals, i already have a career, music is a hobby, this man showed me how to do it without getting sweaty in a class room. This is BRILLIANT.

LYCHEE were using concert pitch in this video , not pure tuning , but you’re right about it being a ratio
Love from India

Literally watched 2 years from the video. 😂
Guys, I make beats and I have minimal music theory knowledge. Can anyone tell me how important it is to understand music theory ?

Why do you keep saying "we"? I thought you're alone.

honesty, this doesn't explain the circle of fifths...
at most, this showed you can find a fifth ny counting semitones...
@Xavier Figueroa this video leads the viewer no closer to understanding the circle of fifths... the title was clickbait
@Xavier Figueroa ok
