we explore the future of Gucci now that the creative director Frida Giannini has made an early exit from the brand.

Bravo to the Fashion World that allow and promote Elegance, Style, Good Taste, Culture and Fine Arts to Everyone who likes it and could afford it as well. Besides, the Fashion World needs some more and new St Laurent, Lagerfeld, Valentino, Lacroix, de la Renta, to continue their Opus, and Dream of a Beautiful and Elegant World, and to still following Mr Klein, Mr Lauren, Mr Hilfiger, Mrs Herrera, Mr Gauthier and so on. Bravo for all of them and Well done, History will remember You all, for your Great Achievement!
the type of breakfast I wanna have
Thank you for having such a wonderful content, BoF.
i want one of those little muffins!
Just discovered this channel, loving it, I thought it was only showstudio who did this kind of thing. More more more please.
I liked that I viewed this today. It clarified my mind about the chaos of fashion.
Great conversation & points. Very true that fashion can't be hidden anymore, needs to have a public facet to it.
Video suggestion, I think audio microphone could have been better. Maybe dedicated for each person?
A year later, it seems Alessandro did a great job and addressed most of this Breakfast Club concerns, no?
Maxime Bertrand I personally think Alessandro is not the best disigner to work at Gucci brand the last collections of Alessandro was just bad, not ellegant, not chic, not new and not modern, GUCCI need a better disigner with good ideas...
28 minutes and no eating, the tea must have turned to ice already
Love this channel!
Love this!!
brilliant series.
This is the second video I see of this series, and is the second video I hear the older man speaking of "dresses that the husband would not ALLOW his wife to wear at a party"...
I WANT TO WORK FOR BOF and for FASHION
I agree that strategically it was a smart move to hire John, but I feel like artistically margiela should have hired a new talent and build that new talent up to make the designer a huge star. I feel like John has had his time.
0:02 who ever did you editing needs their calendar checked, it's 2015 not 2014.
Mima, do remember saying Gucci needed a reboot? 😏
slightly digressing but - does anyone actually eat anything in this entire 28 minute video?
I don't believe that anonimacy and no-self-promoting of the brand is something out of time. Maison Goyard is still a succesfull luxury brand, even though it s not showcased as usual knowodays, and moreover the power of it gets exactly from there, reaching the reputation of exclusivity and luxury as those values actually mean. All this contributes to create a small group of customers not really intrested in prince tag, because they fully trust, respect and kind of admire the brand for its intelectual integrity.
It's actually funny to watch this and hear the possible names that might take on the role at Gucci when in the end it was someone nobody ever heard of. Talk about coming out of left field.
true, but what they said Gucci needs is exactly what Michele brought---a contemporary POV
