Same. The rotating bezel and the charging dock is just so good. My only problem is that the battery is really bad now
I still have the Gear S3 but not by choice but I think my time has come to upgrade but looks like the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic is my best option as I don't think I could own a watch without a rotating bezel. I honestly don't see why they make them without rotating bezels lol.
The watch 6 will have the rotating bezel. I'm watching this to see if the software is worth upgrading from the watch 3.
Edit: I mean there will be a classic model for the 6.

You did not talk about what it doesnt do well as you said in the start of the video. And i experted more user information like gps tracking and batterylife. This was more of a specs readout.

The problem is ECG and some features are blocked unless you have galaxy device.

I wish they went with a metal watch band. I mean its not super expensive but even a bit of stainless steel. You can get watches for like $10 from a flea market that have metal.
I hate how you can't use ECG & Blood Pressure for USA models. You have to do all this side loading crap just to try and use it. Overall the watch looks amazing. Can't wait to see what the 6/6 Pro will look like and have.
You can use ECG, no BP though.

I just switched from apple i bought the s23 ultra 512gb lime green and black galaxy watch 5 pro and i absolutely love them both i feel free and couldn't be more happier
I've never owned an iPhone in my life, I've always used android, specifically galaxys. Not only does the galaxy have a better camera than the Iphone but it's easier to get free music
Apple is for victims of consumerism, but Android is a better platform with more overall control, options and features for a lower price imo
@@theillustriousone8324 if you've never owned one, your opinion on it is irrelevant. People have different needs as well. What you perceive as "better" is not the same for someone else. iPhones are simple to use. Many people like that about them and don't want endless customisation.

@@crow1989samsungs are easy to use too lol out of all androids samsung is pretty much on par with apple in terms of user experience. Its honestly just preference and most people like to stick with the same ecosystem. Most people have had iphones forever and remember when samsung was subpar also for some reason America has a running joke/disdain for androids in general lol. Cant tell you how many times I've gotten roasted for having a green text bubble or not being able to facetime. Never heard an android user roast apple users for not having an blue circle or for not hoping on duo lol
Does the 5 pro have the same issue the watch 4 classic has..where it overheats/gets hot a lot and has to go into cooling down mode?
I had my gw 4 classic since July i never got that option. I literally wear the watch everyday
I didn't think I would like it without the rotating bezel, but it has its own unique use. Gets a solid 5 days of battery life for me as I keep all the health gimmicky features disabled as I find them of no use.
I have the Samsung Gear 2 from 2014. If I change the battery (300 mAh), will it work like new? The battery drains so fast, but I don't want a new watch. I'm in 🧡 with this one!!

I have the gear 2 classic. It still last all day and still has about 50- 60% I bought the 5 pro though. I loved the gear 2 classic but the bezzel fell off. I bought a replacement and that fell of too, the same day, so I was using just so for a long time until I got tired of that beat out look😅

How do you get the white background on that watch face?
I'm looking at one as I am a wheelchair user and it's just been added to the list of devices that will power my smart drive, (my power add on for my chair) if I'm not really using the health features (only sleep) anyone know what sort of battery life to expect? I've the 5 atm and it performs well I just want to be able to go out for the day and not worry about charging my watch.
The health app is superior to anything else on the market
People say it can go for about 2-3 days without charge. Maybe even longer!

Are you able to have all the tracking on all day? I want a watch that I last a minimum 24hrs with all the trackers on. Basically want to only need to charge it on my way to work in the morning since I have a 40 min drive and want the sleep tracking features. I have a fossil gen 5 and it lasts maybe 10hrs............ bs

All of the galaxy watches I've owned, its the damn sms meesages not always working. They still did not fix that issue which is a big problem for me
So I was going to give you a subscribe because your video quality was really well done. But, you did not say anything about how you liked the watch after 6 months as someone specified. BUT. You also failed to talk about how it compares to the 4, or to any other watch alternatives. I think you need to listen to the first 33 seconds of this video to see what you missed.
This is probably a stupid question, but do you need to have your phone on your person to enable the wireless components? Like GPS, bluetooth, etc? Or can i leave my phone at home and go for a run😂
If you bought the LTE version, you can use it in standalone mode away from your phone, but it will cost a little extra on your monthly bill.

To be honest I bought this and returned it for a Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, way better.

This is the Bluetooth model. There is the exact same watch but its called LTE. The pro 5 LTE has its own payment plan. Which most ppl don't believe its worth it as its less functional and more expensive

No, you can't hotspot with it. There is an LTE model.
Does it gives Blood Pressure and ECG alerts on Phone..? Kindly confirm.
It is a sweet watch! It has EKG and does Heart Rate and Stress levels, but I don't believe a smart watch can do Blood Pressure

Im a pretty die hard Samsung user. I currently have the S23 Ultra, and just recently got this watch (Galaxy Watch 5 Pro). Coming from a Galaxy Gear S3..its as huge improvement. However, I will give credit where credit is due in the market and say that the Apple Watches are still farrrrr superior to Samsung watches. But hey, its got a few more cool features over the Gear S3, so its cool. I like the touch bezel on it.
im still rocking a gear s3 with extremely bad screen burn in but i don't want to give up the MST feature. it's still pretty useful to me. lol

I have almos every galaxy watch that have been released and my wife almost every apple watch including the 8 and the 8 ultra and i can tell you probably more about both of them than what you can say.

I can say that Apple watch has BY FAR better haptics... it literally feels like someone tapping your wrist... not a random buzz... and, whilst the watch 5 is better than any other wear OS watches I have used, it still has hang-ups and pauses in the interface where Apple Watch simply doesn't have... apart from that, experiences are pretty similar - samsung screens better IMO and the watches LOOK better..

They should have allowed it to pair with the iPhone, even if just for the basic functions. Prefer this over the Apple Watch, but wouldn’t get a new phone, just for a fitness tracker.

Misleading title or what, none of this video had anything to do with what the device is like to live with, you just read a spec sheet and repeated multiple points, multiple times. The health sensors on the galaxy watch 5 pro are crappy. Try to get a reading of the SpO2... if it works (10% of the attempts) then you get very low reading like you're almost dead (90-92% O2 in blood). There a re a lot of complaints on the internet regarding the low reliability of the watch sensors. It's an expensive piece of crap
