I had preclamcia and then developed Hellp I was 34 weeks pregnant and 29 years old I was not given a C-section because the Dr said I would of bleed to death. Unfortunately after attempting to induced labour twice, on the second day baby had a heart rate of 140 at 6am on my 10am check there was no heart beat my baby was dead. I later had 2 bags of platelet transfusion was monitored for a 24hr urine output for VMA that result i never got bilirubin was found in my urine with excessive protein. It's been 2 years since she died still hard to deal with.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Did you try again? I too developed helpp syndrome by the end of pregnancy. By the grace of god i delivery my baby bit prematurely via c section. I am afraid that i might get helpp syndrome if i get pregnant again.
Good question: Unlike preeclampsia, the severe pathophysiology of HEELP syndrome continues even after the delivery of the placenta and fetus, hence steroids are needed to protect the liver and elevate the platelet count.
