Another great video Neil, UK spring weather certainly gets you thinking about what you carry doesn't it! Love your well seasoned and experienced tips, avoiding the gimmicks. keep doing what you do, as always take care, Harry
I use my US GI medium ALICE ruck with sustainment pouch on each side, large ALICE in cold weather. Better bigger pack to put all items inside including layers you remove while hiking. Like your methodology. I always bring pegs.
Great video. I e been on a spring Campout with Scouts. In less than 24 hours we had a 4 mile hike in rain, supper in sleet and hail, then woke up to 1 inch of snow on everything. None packed enough gear to be comfortable. Lol. I think you did a great job covering your needs in this video !
Glad you made this one Neil mate. Had trouble deciding a rucksack suitable for my Carinthia survivor 1 and hammock gear, plus water and food etc. Awesome mod to the Carinthia
Great information Neil. And exactly the right time for me. My first wild camp this weekend. That’s a nifty trick with the hammock. Have you done a video on how to set it up? I don’t recall seeing it. Brilliant idea. Stay safe 🔥
Is the small Opinel 12 saw enough? Im wondering if i should get that size or the No 18 more similar to a Laplander, but since im pairing it with a tomahawk and knife I dont know if the No18 will be really necessary leading back to the first question of "Is the small size apt for the woods?" Great vid.
Sleeping bag set up is very slick, impressive. Thank ya
Proper craftsman. Thank you .
Have you ever been to the US or Canada? You would have a great time camping, with all of the different types of landscapes we have. ✌🇺🇲🇨🇦🇬🇧✌
Great video again thanks 👍👍😁👏
Another good video, keep going.
Very cool my friend 🤠

Not spring yet but I'll probably follow that template when it is. Might add a lightweight bivvy. Great video 👍
Good advice as ever Neil 👍👌

Apparently this April has been one of the coldest on record in the UK, with frost somewhere in the UK every night.

Loved the spoon, where to get, what cold steel do you carry?
Where did you get your wool top?
Which one mick? The hoodie?
