AWWWWW thanks my friend!! I just put Onda on so I could really assess where I might have additional room, and honestly, I'm not feeling anything discernable. It fits me perfectly. I think the reason it seems a little bigger than some EW wigs is because the coverage is better on me, so it comes down just a little lower near the ear tabs,

I am a medium brown trying to find something a bit lighter and with a bit of pizzaz to brighten me up since I am turning 69. You do look best in the curly styles though. Name brand wigs is great. I have at least 6 wigs from them and have returned and exchanged a few. Really good customer service. If I was going to try one of these wigs, I would try girl mono in a blonde shade. BTW, you are gorgeous in your bio hair! Excellent review, thank you!

For me it needed to be less full, a little bit longer, and a little more relaxed. I’m excited to get her. Interesting that you said it was warmer looking outside. On my monitor it looked neutral to very cool outside and very gold shot in your home! Thanks for the detailed review.

Right? I agree! That makes choosing color EXTRA hard, lol. As for this compared to Editor's Pick... that is a comparison I can do!! Personally, I would choose this one all day long because of the fibers. I just don't prefer Raquel Welch heat friendly fibers and think that this one will last MUCH longer than Editor's pick will. Truly. If you can afford to have many wigs, though, then maybe that isn't as much of a concern because Editor's Pick is pretty fabulous, I just don't think those fibers last as long as I would like.
Another awesome review. You answer so many questions while they're still thoughts in our heads🙂. I'm looking at Onda but have to wonder how does she compare to Finn? I seem to have a curlier Finn. Mine was a tad too light for me so instead of having it sit lonely in it's box I did a light spraying of light brown root spray all over from a good distance and now I absolutely love it. Got so many compliments on her when I wore her the other day. Could you do a comparison of Onda and Finn? Would love that. Onda is significantly shorter than Finn with much tighter curls. Not nearly as much permatease, either, and she has a mono part whereas Finn only has a deep lace front. I don't really think they compare at all.

Denise I just love your videos, have learned a lot and I love your openness about your faith. It's rare these days. I am fairly new to wigs (4 months) and have 2 Ondas. But both my Onda's have a lace front that won't lay flat and It Stays doesn't help. I had to trim the hair to make bangs to hide the lace front. Just wondering if you have had that issue with your Ondas.

Please keep in mind that Curly wigs can sometimes not look great out of the box... they can get box hair from being smashed... it is easy to fix, here is a video on did on this with a Girl Mono.... ruclips.net/video/iy0GDfYLbSc/видео.html Also... sometimes a curly piece can be overwhelming when you aren't used to it... styling with clips and headbands are a GREAT way to help you work your way up to getting used to wearing it in all its glorious fullness. Finding your channel has already improved my self confidence. I have petite Nadia by Envy and Hudson by Estetica. I’m having a harder time getting used to Hudson. I made the cap smaller and thinned her out but she still feels like a lot of hair for me and she’s blonder than what I’m used to. I scared to leave the house. I know that seems silly. Why do I care?

Do you feel that the part could've been more noticeable if the roots weren't so dark? I would love to see how are you going to modify the bangs to take advantage of the front lace. Great questions! The way she lays out of the box I definitely think she could have gotten away with no lace front... but then the styling options would be so limited. I am very appreciative of the lace front because I can imagine that sometimes I would want to wear her down and sometimes I would want to clip up those bangs or wear her with a headband and bangs back. As for the part, I don't think the rooting really mattered. It is just so densely knotted that there is too much hair to really see it. Again, even though you can't really see it, I think that without that you run the risk of seeing either permatease or cap (because they don't use a lot of permatease).... so even though you can't see it, it definitely serves a purpose.
Would you consider reviewing Envy’s Kenya? It is real curly but not quite as expensive. I love the lighter red shade that Envy has. I have 3 of the wigs in lighter red.
You're right, it's definitely looks more ash and cool in the outdoors. I can't really tell the difference between Girl Mono and Onda. As a critique of your review(s), I appreciate that you stand still and show us a good, long look at the color. Too many reviews run through this too fast (or flip the hair) so there's no time to evaluate the colors. You do it right. I'm pretty sure I ordered an Ellen Wille wig several years ago as a new wearer, but found the ear tabs hit well above and almost behind my ears. So I never looked at the brand again, thinking they ran way too small for me. I've heard rumors that the company is making them bigger and more for the average American head. I wonder if this is true.
First of all, THANK YOU for that wonderful feedback! I just asked for some feedback in the community section of my channel as well... and ALWAYS appreciate knowing if I am hitting the mark or not. As a wig wearer I try to take what I wish from other videos and apply it to my own, and not being able to assess the color because the reviewer doesn't stand still long enough is DEFINITELY a frustration I have personally felt. As for EW cap size... I think there is something to that. This cap does feel a little bit bigger to me, and I have experienced that with a few wigs now. I just received my Onda in Plantin Blonde Shaded and I absolutely love her! She's so curly and sassy. I always wanted to try girl mono and haven't gotten around to it but I'm really lovin' Onda. Maybe I'll try Girl mono in a different shade.
@@heywigsister I don't have Pearl Blonde but I think the closest color I can think of is Palm Springs Blonde. I tend to gravitate towards the cooler blondes. But looking at your color that looks pretty cool too.
I am waiting for this one to arrive. It looks to me if Girl Mono and Turn had a baby Onda would be the result 😁 I chose the same colour as your review as the seller said it was very close to Sandy Blonde Rooted, which I'm familiar with but will have to do a comparison when it eventually arrives. I think that is so interesting. I am the exact opposite. I think straight wigs look more wiggy than curly. Isn't it funny how we're all so different on this journey? That's why it's so awesome that we have so many choices, because there is sure to be something that will work for everyone.
@@heywigsister I agree, it is a personal choice; but, what my husband thinks matters, too. I haven't found a wig that he likes, yet. He says ALL wigs look wiggy on me. So, I guess I just have to pick what I feel the best wearing.
I found this comparison really interesting. I am considering buying my first wig and as my hair is straight my choice would be curly. Until now my preference has been Girl Mono but now think I prefer the less curly Onda, my only concern is when you showed the back view the wig wasn’t very dense, I could clearly see your neck. Not sure if it’s the amount of curl but Girl Mono seems much denser all around. Love watching your videos, I have learnt so much about wigs and how to care for them. Xx

Have you tried 12/16 Honey Toast in Editor's Pick? It is a warm light brown with blonde highlights.

I just got 2 new Girl Mono’s and both had the clear tag instead of the cloth tag. I was kinda thrown back.
They must be making some changes over there at EW!
