I was breaking my brain trying to find a way to combine an auto-fill G-doc formula and a PDF editor to do exactly this and a friend of mine found PDF Mail Merger... The only way this could be any better catered to what I need would be if their sample templates used my actual clients' names, lol. Great job, PDFMM! Hope you continue to grow and succeed.

Hi Cindy, we have simplified the functionality for different file names. Just enter an @ sign and you can choose which column name you want to insert as a placeholder. Placeholders like {{first name}} are deprecated and no longer work. You can find more information here: pdfmailmerger.com/faq/individual-filenames/

Can you attach images? Eg. I want to create Google forms with file upoads, can the PDF be merged and the images included in the same file as attachements ?
Hello Servaughn, at the moment it is not possible to mail merge an image file with the PDF. This feature is already on our feature request list and will be implemented in the medium term.
I had to ask myself... is 19 bucks really worth me saving myself like 3 hours writing out names on over 500 individual forms? The answer is obviously yes!
@@anhnhatnguyet4628 Most large PDF files are created by large embedded image files. We recommend compressing the images in large PDF files, either manually or with free tools such as smallpdf.com/compress-pdf.
its a great tool, only one thing i am facing is that when i merge a date from the excel sheet it takes it some number e.g suppose dt is 06.11.2022 after mail merging it shows me 442356 some thing like this. any solution for this. help is highly appreciated
To get a correctly formatted date in the generated PDF file, you can save the date as “Text” format instead of “Date” format. This way the date will always be printed as you can see it in your Excel file. You can find out more in our FAQ article: pdfmailmerger.com/faq/incorrect-date-format/
Is your system HIPAA compliant? Also, What do you do with the data that is uploaded? How long to you retain it, and who on your team has access to see it?
Hello Rick, PDF Mail Merger will phase out it's HIPAA compliance due to the relatively low demand for HIPAA compliant products and the high efforts and costs to keep the HIPAA rules and procedures in place. Current BAAs that we have signed with Covered Entities will remain in place. However, we are not signing any new BAAs. You can find more information here: pdfmailmerger.com/faq/hipaa-compliance/ Your data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers. Your data will only be processed for mail merging the PDF files and nothing else. We keep your data until you delete the created PDF template. If you delete a template, we will also irretrievably delete all related data and files. If you have not logged in for over 6 months we will permanently delete your entire account, including the uploaded files. In this case we will send you a notification 7 days before deletion. In our team only authorized and trained employees have temporary access to data and uploaded files in the event of a support request by the user.

So I have to set place holder every time I create PDF for same application form? Or it is one time exercise for one application form?
You only need to add placeholders once, and you can save the template and reuse it with different Excel data at any time.

Is there a limit to the size of the uploaded sample pdf file or the number of lines of the excel file that needs to be created?
Both the PDF and Excel files have a size limit of 5 MB. The number of rows in the Excel file is not limited.
