Home made kids crossbow

I had a small fibreglass piece from a kids bow that had long broken so thought I would try to make a lightweight crossbows that my youngest could shoot without being too dangerous.
Ignore the paint job it’s absolutely vile 🤣.
Works ok it’s fab fun, maybe only about 20lb draw weight at 5 inches but great fun at 10 yards . Still a bit much for my 9 year old to cock it but he loved shooting it .
Very pleased with it and yet again cost me next to nothing to build 😁👍
