Thanks for the comparison. I have the old rug doctor that they used to rent out. It’s just to heavy. I have gone through 2 of the smaller rug doctors that were ok. Getting ready to buy another when I found your video. I think I’ll buy the bissell. I see they have 2 in the big green. One slightly more expensive. I will get the one with the hose. Appreciate your taking the time to compare them. Thank you.
Yes. I fit mines in a Ford Taurus 2012. Dodge charger 2006 trunk. You might have to let your back seat down if trunk is smaller then open the vacuum so it's completely flat. But it will fit. $40 rental fee with a $20 deposit
Bissell may have crappy customer service at times, but as far as I know and as far as my many tests have gone, Bissell is the leader in near all carpet washer and spot cleaners. With a good shampoo solution and proper maintenance these things are beasts
I have the BG10 variant of that Bissell. We just call it Big Bertha. Over about 4.5 years of ownership, the BG10 has more than paid for itself and is a must-have if you've got kids and or pets.
Question: Both the bissell and that version of RD is rated to clean and extract in both forward and reverse directions. It was unclear in your video if you stopped cleaning in the forward or if you actually kept the soap going both ways? That would have then been 4 passes with each machine?
I found a cure for those Dyson canister dander clinging woes and blocked passages of fine particulate. It works well and is antistatic. First take your canister and remove it from the bin. Tap it over the garbage to really get most of the particulate out. Cut a section of bounce sheet and put it in the bin ( cut it to what ever size it takes so that it at times cyclones around the bin). Replace the canister back in place. Start vacuuming. It's amazing how it reduces static cling and keeps those canister cyclones clean and the screen ( whether ball or cordless). After 20 minutes of vacuuming I've noticed all the fine particulate at the bottom of the bin and on the bounce sheet. By one light tap the bounce sheet drops the fine particulate to the bottom and the sheet can be reused a few times. It works amazing ( Don't let Dyson know😂😂😂)
I just picked up the machine two hours ago and having someone help me with it but he’s not very enthusiastic so the stains aren’t really coming out. I’m going to try to do it after he leaves. He’s going way too fast like double or triple the speed of what I’m seeing online Will make a difference in cleanness if we slow down at least 50% or is it important to have more soap
Are we supposed to steam clean until the color of the water is not dirty? I’ve gone quite a few times and water still not neutral or clean. My backs killing me… man they need to come up with a design that’s ergonomic.

How well will the BG10 lift pet urine? My girlfriends cousin came to stay for 4 days and her dog made himself at home now that they have gone back home, our place smells like dried urine in one corner or our living room. I was thinking I would just burn that entire room, but it would be cheaper to buy a carpet cleaner.
I bought rug dr when it came out still have honestly it’s a POS! It’s pure plastic the handle bends and flexes so easy! Has very little water lift aka suction! Absolutely not worth $500!!

Fantastic. My big green is 7 years old, going strong!
Yes. The big green pet.
@@VacMaster1991would you recommend that better for deeper stains
Yes. Big green is great for deep stains
I've had my Bissell Big Green for almost 6 years, and I love it.

I just ordered mine after renting once. Well worth buying.

How heavy are these machines can they fit into a trunk of small car
