grear Vid, i used to spend frustrating months after months trying to achieve hyperrealism on acrylics without taking in consideration the importance of adding Tonal value as in Oil painting methods, it's how masters achieved extreme accuracy. i compare tonal values similar to a " Blur " from a camera, as you set your values in place and fine-tuned color matching then you'd work your way around, sharpening every possible details similar to adjusting the camera lens.
