    Good day Beth and Paul, we enjoy looking at your Queensland videos. My wife Jane and I found Noosa during our first trip Australia in September 2017, we returned in September 2019 and will be back again staying for a few days during the first week in November. Jane would like to walk the Noosa National Park trail starting from Sunshine beach. We are UK/Canadian ‘would-be’ retirees who would love to be able to spend more time in the Noosa hinterland area. Best wishes, Mark

      G’Day Mark and Jane 🤗 we can understand why you would return to Noosa…we used to holiday there from Melbourne years before we moved north to Queensland to settle permanently. Noosa National Park is wonderful and starting the walk from Sunshine Beach is a great option ☀️ We hope you have a great holiday 😊

      So true! The weather is usually good too, so having mild winters helps also 🤗 Noosa is beautiful ❤️ Thanks for watching 🤗

    Mornings are the best time at the beach, better parking opportunities if you’re early and the crisp air with the warmth of the sun is just bliss. Love the intro views of fog - so pretty.
    Wow, big crack on the windscreen! Great they have a defib machine so far in, certainly needed with how long it would take to get medical help up there. Is Olakino new in the last few years? I’ve never seen it before but looks awesome.

    • @BethandPaultravel
      @BethandPaultravel  2 года назад +1

      Hi Intrepid Nurse 🤗 Yes, Noosa is especially beautiful in the morning…before the crowds come 😎 Olakino hasn’t been there for that long but they have the best acai bowls we’ve ever had…great after a long walk ☀️

    I hope your windscreen is ok. I’m glad you weren’t injured!
    After watching your lovely video, we drove up to Noosa and ate that amazing Açai from the cafe you suggested. It was delicious! Then we did the walk and were so lucky to see pods of dolphins playing all along our walk.
    Great recommendations- again! Thank you so much. We had such a great day. 😊😊😊

      That’s fantastic Emma 🤗 We’re so glad you enjoyed it and that you saw the dolphins …what a bonus! That’s our idea of a perfect day…even the cracked windscreen couldn’t spoil it ❤️

    That was such a beautiful video, I can’t wait to visit. I love how you 2 are always so positive, I’d have been spitting feathers about that rock in the windscreen! 🤣

      @BethandPaultravel  2 года назад

      Hi Vanessa 🤗 Thanks so much, we love taking our viewers with us when we visit our favourite spots and Noosa is right up there! It’s not very nice when a stone hits your windscreen, but we were determined it wouldn’t spoil our day 😉 But we were also over the moon when we found out after breakfast that we wouldn’t have to pay a huge excess! Honestly, once we were walking and looking at those sea views, we had completely forgotten about the windscreen ❤️

    That looks like a stunning walk and we've added it to our list! Sorry to hear about your windscreen. Funnily enough (being from the UK) we actually know who Maggie Beer is as we're big fans of Masterchef Australia - she's great! Thanks again for another amazing video!! 🤗

      Hi Julie, yes this is a ‘must do’ thing for your list! It’s absolutely beautiful ❤️ Yeah, bad luck about the windscreen…but almost inevitable that it will happen when we travel 50k kms a year on mostly rural roads. Maggie B looked terrific…just like she does on TV 🤗

    Hard to find adequate words to describe this wonderful national park. Yes, only dirt tracks back in the 80's. Walked the full trail with my daughter recently, delightful day...the cook and the chef, the only show I can watch reruns after midnight 😀

      Hi Chillout Lars 🤗 We went for this walk on Thursday and were so surprised how busy it was at 8:30 in the morning, midweek and out of school holidays. Nevertheless, it’s somewhere we love returning to. Ha ha The Cook & The Chef…great show!

    The Coastal Walk through Nossa National Park reminds Harriet and I of a town called Ogunquit, Maine with a Coastal Walk called the Marginal Way. So many similarities. We live in parallel worlds
    that mirror each other. We are so happy to hear you survived a rock hit to the car .Hope to visit very soon. Sending you much love💖💖💖 from Harriet, Jim and Yuki. Richmond, Va.

    We pay $50 per year for windscreen and headlight protection. We always get stone chips from trucks here

    • @BethandPaultravel
      @BethandPaultravel  2 года назад +1

      Hi @New Zealand Earthmover 🤗 $50 seems like a good deal. Yes, we’ve never had one so big hit us before. It made a loud bang, so we immediately knew what it was. It’s inevitable when we drive on country roads….

    What a stunning walk on an amazing day. Is it unusual to have fog where you are?

    • @BethandPaultravel
      @BethandPaultravel  2 года назад

      Hi Alastair 🤗 Yes, it’s a fantastic place for a walk…we read yesterday that it’s the most visited National Park in Australia. Fog is common during winter in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland early in the mornings and late at night. We love watching the fog lift over the hills when we have our breakfast on the balcony 😊

    looks reilly nice its hot here at the moment ,alison met a man and his daughter from tazmania they talked about her mermaiding skills that looked very good and his daughter said she wants to do mermaiding in taz ? she said dont they have sharks there? .anyway your videos are always very informative .i once broke a window on my xjs jaguar v12 he ,but because of the stainless steel surround and different size screen it took all day to fix.

      Tasmania is a great spot, but we’re fairly sure they also get their share of sharks down there…We found out on Friday that the windscreen company will come to our home to put the new windscreen on and we’re happy about that as we live in a quiet rural area and didn’t think they would cone out here 🤗
