I love the implication the only reason Frank killed the Fireflies was because he accidentally shot one, he murdered the others to get out of trouble, and he was entirely honest to Ellie about that being the reason he doomed their chance to save humanity.
a cure wouldnt save humanity. you cant cure the zombies and no one wants to get bitten anyway so a cure wouldnt make that mich of a change

Favorite part of this is that the shitty ruined building where Frank asks if they're in his apartment actually looks a little cleaner/tidier than his actual apartment in the show.

One thing you can trust Frank on: he wouldn't sugarcoat anything to Ellie. He'd tell her straight up that he killed the Fireflies and that he looked damn cool doing it. Just like he'd also tell her what a bunch of useless screw-ups they were, failing at every endevour and being so stupid that the only solution to a cure they could think of was to scoop out her brain and hope for the best. And everyone would be better off.
Imagine how much better Last of Us 2 would be with Frank.

I'll say this. If the immediate thought is autopsy, they were lousy scientists. They don't even know if being immune to the effects of the fungus required Ellie to be alive. The never considered less invasive methods.

The way Tess put her head down made me chuckle
So according to the lore shown in this video. In this timeline, Frank & Mac were both serving in the army (Presumably as part of yet another Get-Rich-Quick scheme by the gang) right as the outbreak occured, and he ended up shooting Sara and, presumably, killing Joel & Tommy when the ladder of whom showed up to save Joel (He might've shot Mac and killed him instead, given that we never see him again afterwards.)
And then, 20 years later, he finds himself in the middle of The Fireflies situation after he finds Ellie and the others breaking into his apartment, thus getting dragged into this mission and taking the role of Joel as Ellie's protector during their trip and eventually surrogate father figure.
Wow, the L O R E goes deep in this one and I'm sure all of these choices were intentional and not at all coincidences, bravo!

Somehow the scenery of IASIP and the post apocalyptic world of Last of Us are very interchangable
IASIP characters are so full of themselves they completely ignore the world lmao
I fully believe that the reason frank never got infected is cause the rest of the infected didnt want to deal with him on their end and is just always annoyed by his presence. So every time it enters his system, the virus just dies out immediately, thus making him immune.
Or he has enough poison in his system that hes basically a fungicide.

The fact that this exists and is so perfect is a testament that no matter how alone we think we are, there’s always a group out there with the talent and love of the lulz to put time into something bigger than the sum of its parts.

I am generally impressed with your videos. Most of the time they are very funny. I can legitimately say I have not laughed as hard at anything in the last year than I did at this video when Danny DeVito started gagging after the hose trick didn’t work. This is an amazing edit.

All of your videos are unequivocally amazing but THIS one in particular stands out more so because of the amount of perfect syncs between Frank and TLoU. It's only a minute and a half but you manage to get a lot of scenarios into this one as opposed to other vids of yours that are longer. So awesome!
