"Maybe you have a drone to carry..then get weekender bag" that was what I was wanting to hear. With my drone taking up so much space, I really need a bigger bag. Thank you for the review!!
Your very welcome, once I get caught up on travel videos I am going to do a review of how both backpacks have lasted over the past year of use. Also which I prefer for what situations. Can't go wrong with either bag.
Glad to help. You will love either one. I am still using both of mine. The day tripper has been my drone bag and its perfect for our off-road adventures.
Thank you and yes. They both are the perfect size for carry on. I even flew with both bags the weekender as a carry on and the daytripper as my personal item.
Wished I would have seen this before I bought my Daytripper this past weekend 🤣. But I think the Daytripper will be good for me since I'm only using it for excursion days during our cruises.
Yes the daytripper is perfect for cruise excursions especially with the water resistant front pouch. I have used my daytripper on several excursion type trips and I love it. I use it mostly now as a drone bag to carry my Mavic Pro and all the accessories.
thank you for this review , it was great to see how big inside etc and all the little extra pockets you don't have on the GoPro website. The mission duffel looks just a little too big . many thanks again , great review 👍👍👍
Great review! I’ve been looking at investing in a GoPro backpack recently, My only gripe with the GoPro bags is that they aren’t anti theft designs, the day tripper bag has an exposed compartment on top of the bag for 4 gopros (£1600 worth of cameras). I just don’t trust a bag that can be opened as I walk. They’d be so much better if they opened completely from the rear and had a USB charging port.
I 100% agree with you. I prefer the anti theft bag. I keep a drone and cameras in the bag. When traveling through airports with it on your back it’s nerve wracking good thing is you can lock the dual zippers.
@@gaffordsgocoastal 100% agree with you! My anti theft bag I use now just gives me such a peace of mind when going on holiday. If your vlogging your back has probably £500-1000 worth of kit in it at any one time, GoPro could make a killing if they just redesigned their bags to be safer and better thought out
Hi, great video it was really informative. I'm looking for a bag to use while going travelling for a few months. I was just wondering does the weekender feel quite big or is it a good size
Thank you, I feel like the weekend is good sized bag I use it almost every trip we take. I don’t feel it is to big. I can pack enough clothing for 3-4 days and still have room for my laptop and some camera gear.
Yes I have transported my DJI Mavic pro in both bags man times. In fact when we ride in the RZR I keep my Mavic Pro in the bag and never had a problem.
thanks for the review! :) I didn´t know if I should buy the Daytripper or the Weekender. But it came out, the daytripper is better for my purposes of usage. Greetings from Germany! Cheers :D
No unfortunately you can’t lock them together. But depending on TSA lock you can lock them separately. After our Cancun trip I am going to do an update video and that is one of the items I will address.
I fee they are both comfortable but the day tripper to me is more comfortable because you can’t load as much weight in it. I use it mostly now to carry my Mavic pro along with accessories and few cameras including my GoPro’s. Even loaded it’s fairly comfortable. I have worn it loaded for several hours at a time and my opinion it was just fine for me as far as comfortable.
Depends on how thick it is. I fit my MacBook Pro 16” and there is plenty of room. The inside of the laptop pouch measures 17.5 inches by 12.5 inches. I have a 17” ROG laptop somewhere if I can find it I will toss it in to see if it fits for sure.
Ok so I found my old ROG gaming laptop which is a 17.3 2012 model G74SX and it WILL NOT fit. The ROG I have measured 16.5”X13X2.5”. I tried every way and it is just to big.
They look nice but for the prices it’s hard to justify I can get a ton of better packs or even setup one of my maxpedition packs that have tons of pockets , I’ve had all the GoPro backpacks and end up selling them because they feel so flimsy I don’t trust them on a international long trip plus I don’t like promoting expensive gear on my person while traveling lol
When this pack came in by mail I was shocked at the size it was way bigger then I even wanted but got stuck with it because all discounted products are final….but for a week long trip it’s perfect I just don’t trust the pack it feels cheap

Your welcome glad to help. And it is perfect for a drone. I plan on doing another review after using it for several months.
very thorough review. thanks for going in depth on reviewing this backpack!

Convinced me to buy, thanks for your help.

@@gaffordsgocoastal Its been great, im now looking to get the Day tripper. Once i get another 50% off code from GP, ill get it :)
@@70hibby awesome yes definitely when you get a 50% code. I love both of the bags and use them all the time.
Great review. I just purchased the Daytripper a few weeks ago, after watching this I wish I would have waiting and got the weekender.
Thank you That’s why I did the review. I needed a little bigger one and was hoping I could help others so they could make the best choice for them.
Hi great video. Does the Daytipper fit on carry on luggage on a plane?

Does the weekender bag fit under a plane seat
Yes it does
Thank for the video. I'll buy weekender
I love the weekender and I have taken it on several trips and it has been amazing.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 amazing insight we’ll done is it safe to transport a DJI drone

Add bags.
Good! Thanks for you ✌🏽
You’re very welcome.
Perfect video . THanks , helpfull
Your welcome, Glad it helped
Thank you for this video it seems like the Weekender is a no-brainer
amazing review of both bags, it helps to take my decision....
Glad I could help. I’ve been using both bags for almost 8 months now I am going to being doing. Long term review. Cant go wrong with either bag.
Thankyou❤

Hi. What do you recommend then? Am looking for a similar as in the video but maybe less money. Thx
@@Life_of_John honestly any “tactical” pack I use my maxpedition it’s so much better

@@Life_of_John actually they have had wonder sales lately just picked up 2 different type of packs to mess with on maxpedition
Seems like GoPro took inspiration from the wndrd bags :)
Yes. I can see the similarities with the Duo bag from Wandrd.

Its denum 600 so it's very hard to rip. It's not cheap. Its made light
