Theres a difference between a sword bot like that galy crew and you than someone like Blurbs or Mixel who actually uses the sword well. I know you probably think double gunning is “the meta” and sword users are all losers but its a pirate game and pirates used swords most of the time.

Lol, I was the one on cannons for the first sloop. I would hardly say we shit on them, I hit one chainshot and a few shots before they boarded. We were heavily outmatched skill wise, we were never winning that fight. My crewmate was big mad, we fought a second time on this server and got clapped again. GG's Mixel - Doobz007

Just started playing this game with my son and his friends. Can you explain these 2 terms please?
@@Peppersfirst I actually had to look up TDMing, but I think I get it now. Tucking is hiding, stowing away either on an enemy ship or on an island where another crew is getting or dropping off loot, until the time is right to betray them.
TDM means "team death match," and it's when multiple crews want to have their own private party and play laser tag, basically. They park their ships at an unoccupied fort, usually in arena mode, and ignore everyone else to play their own game. But if you interrupt them, as many new players do, they get angry and punish you by getting control of your ship and then repeatedly spawn killing you, without letting your ship sink. It's kind of a mess. TDMers would seem to want a separate game mode so that no one could bother them, but since it doesn't exist, they try to enforce their rules with heaps of negative reinforcement.

i think my quickest sink was a sloop who had a keg on the boats deck and it took one cannonball and the whole thing blew up maybe we fired a couple more cannoballs, cant remember

To be completely honest solo sloop gameplay is not an interest of mine (because it usually takes very long and doesn't always work out as well) but I do still watch your solo vids, and I would enjoy more content like this.

wow wow wow back in the day the doublegun playsyle was used as an excuse, but know the players have evolved and tdmer is the new thing to blame if you loose to a more skilled player 2:14

So a tdmer is a Player that usualy plays Double gun and is very skilled with that because he trains a lot in tdm vs other PvP lords
He doesn't TDM though... he uses a sword and he dodged a TDM with MiddlePegLeg

Why do all the youtubers and streamers that I see get the easiest sinks. The servers that I get thrown in have grade five reapers emissary and put up a crazy fight and they're sweat lords.
I feel that, last night had a basic looking galleon come at me and my brig crew and they were just landing every shot like it was nothing. We were just out-skilled heavily, literally could not do anything.
I don't really play anymore bc everyone I ran into was new with no loot, so there was no challenge or risk.
in new to SoT ..so the struggle sometimes ,but you have to outsmart them.

because they are almost the same thing but pc has alot more stuff and benifits when it comes to in game interactions since you have so many keybinds
