The reality of Indian Education is that JEE Mains and Advanced are the second most toughest exams all over the globe but the Colleges we get after those exams after 2 years of hard work are not even in top 100 colleges from all over the world.

I humbly disagree, if that was the case, CCP didn't have to introduce restriction on gaming. Although, I do think children should not waste too much time on gaming, but I do think this is the responsibility of their guardian too, they should also be aware of their child's whereabouts. Blaming one side will bear no fruit. Lastly, I have thought about this for a quite a long time, but you cannot actually manufacture an innovative mind. What we do need is to design our curriculums in a way that does not hamper growth of an innovative person.

Fully agree with you, but here in colleges professors are just focus on GATE exam, MNCs and no startup field to be improved. Above all if students are making efforts to build their own, they only resists by exams, practicals, viva and etc...
Thats the problem that in most of the colleges. They just focuses on exam and not provide support to students to discover new things. Thats why Im preparing hard to get into IITB so that I can discover in new fields.

You are wrong about the density part....most Chinese live near coast approx. 92% lives near Shenzhen, Shanghai, guangzhau etc. Most land in china is not favorable for living as it consist of mountains etc... China is even more denser than India.

Nice analysis. But, here you have forgotten other issues which are badly affecting Indian economy. Corruption - politicians and bureaucrats- political interference, brain drain. Almost all education institutions even IITs, IIMs, NITs, IIITs, etc are producing employees but not entrepreneurs.

@@vinayakk2745 start preparing for NDA/IIT exam. If you are good enough in studies you will get IIT. If not joining Air force through NDA is not a bad option. After getting into air force later you can do research.
The situation in india for aerospace is not good. There are hardly any private companies.

And there are private companies in the spacetech field and since the government opened the space sector for private players last year, there will be more such startups/companies emerging. Infact, there are two private launches next year, one by skyroot and the other by agnikul. I only see this sector growing in future.

Population density that you mentioned is flawed. China's area is more than India only on paper. 80% of China's population lives in the East including Beijing and other economically important provinces which is not more than 20% of total China's land area. Nearly 60-70% of China's land is inhabitable and no one lives there except some tribes, leave agriculture and manufacturing in that area.
But most of India's land is habitable, agriculturally feasible and diverse.
So actually China's population density is far greater than India's if usable land is considered.
That's the reason why we see lot of skyscrapers in China than India as usable land in China is less than India.

Our farmers overproduce wheat and rice and doesn't consider other crops which are more valuable like avocados, jack fruit, black apple, cashew, grapes and it's only because of MSP is assured only to wheat and rice and lack of knowledge and research. We can feed the world and grow exotic crops at the same time by utilising our lands properly and increasing number of warehouses, cold storages and giving incentives to indigenous food processing industry.And there is no limit to how much we can earn though agriculture if done efficiently.

Recent NFSA govt report says India's fertility rate has fallen to 2.1.Current population stands at 1.39 crore for India and 1.44 crore for China. For maintaining population we need 2.2 as fertility rate. So India's population has started declining very slowly and it's now highly unlikely that it will cross China in 2024 or even by 2030 too. So its also clear that the population of India is going to remain nearly constant at least for decade now.

@@inmymind41 we should be able to use solar energy for that, solar panels might see huge boom in RnD investments so faster generational leaps in tech in photovoltaic technology = more solar panel garbage needing to get recycled, however solar panels are kind of hard to recycle, so if we can innovate in this sector and improve the recycling along with cheaper prices for both sales and manufacturing, i think energy won't really be a problem!
