I would love to know where this was recorded at. As a Pentecostal and a steel guitar enthusiast i would like to know who was playing the instruments.. especially the steel guitar. This reminds me of the music we experienced growing up in my church.

Somebody like Angela Primm, Ricky Skaggs, The Isaacs, or Russ Taff ought to do an entire album of this guy's songs. Wow.

I completely agree @bearmills72, but none of those musicians have the "rawness" that Brother Claude had. They refine songs too much. I do love the Issacs version of Ain't no Grave (original words) and the song that has made Molly Skaggs a common name in Christian circles are both too refined. I love the sound of Holy Ghost inspired song sung in a Pentecostal church in the South and South East US. Makes me want to dance in praise to my Lord when I hear them!

Those are all great artists... but they don't have the "rawness" that Brother Claude had. They would "refine" the songs too much. Honestly, a Rockabilly artist would sound more like Brother Claude.
