This is true... EVERY asian wife gets treated like she's a nobody when the couple goes on honeymoon !! The managers completely disregard the woman and every person around add to it till she ends up feeling low, pressurized and insignificant on what should be the best time of their lives!!! This is an eye-opener for newlyweds to know and beware that a society is already waiting to ruin it for them!! I liked the short-film and their discourse! Nice!

Shows how we are made to put aside our own wants and comforts in front of what the society sets as standards for us to live by...especially the photoshoot,decorated car, honeymoon plans n hotel suite...
The girl's discomfort was coolly ignored by the guy from the beginning showing the apathy most men unknowingly have towards the women in their lives
The friend's character beautifully portrayed how most men are surviving marriage instead of making it something great...
The ego clashes...saying yes just because there wasn't a strong reason to say no, the unwillingness of the boy to accept his wife's opinion and his frustration combined with his want to play the gentleman's role, the looks of the people around them was all so natural...and the final nail on the coffin was the phone call from her friend and the girl giving in once more to the societal expectations instead of listening to her own heart has been brought out beautifully
Boundaries and consent have to be taught to both men and women from a very young age...
Overall an awesome work by the team... Great job❤🎊🎉

@@sriv418 Jii..You have just reviewed one part of the story. The Story deals with the differences between both men and women. “Two” extreme poles like mentioned in the starting quote. Like you rightly said, Societal expectations naala both men and women are facing problems understanding each other. There are things men have to understand about women and Women have to understand about men. Adha azhaga director kaamichurukanga. Adding to the points from your angle, there are other things in the opposite angle: Men generalise pana prechana, women generalise pana not a problem. He even showed how caring men are, when he cleaned the bed without disturbing her, How he respected her colleague in the call even if he was not interested and much more. Similarly even the girl loves him and wants to express it in her own way, but because of the situation she is not able to.Finally its all about how both understands each other’s situation and decide on a common and right point. :)

I had to watch this film twice to understand it! Nice script and perfect actors to portray this! Arjun and Anjana were natural and did justice to their roles. The background score was perfect and fit so well! The camera was great but it could be improved.
Now regarding the story, I think that quote at the end sums it up! I think communication is the best way to have good relationships. Oh I really like the natural sounds of the road, the car, the key card sounds, and fork! It added to the natural element of the storytelling!
I think Arjun wanted sympathy so he hit the door again to get Anjana’s attention. Then, Anjana felt a bit more calm after she realized they didn’t have to get intimate and force anything.
The most common problem today ! And you guys described in a short film so beautiful . Maybe most of people can't understand what you guys are trying convey because of AGE or maybe they didn't thought about it , as this is gonnah be my next stage of life i think i understand well. You can't define anything so simple in this kinda situation i think so!.

Such an excellent movie. Even with such limited dialogues one could understand what the heroine thoughts were. Brilliant performance by each and every character. The phone conversations between the already married couple brings out the essence of the movie. Cinematography, bgm all good. Worth!

Very good short movie, it’s simple..I would suggest all newly wed groom to give a space to their newly wed wife and give them some space, time and freedom. This will not only free their mind but also will gain trust, connect, closeness and comfortable zone with their partner. Forceful of any activity without their wish/approval will lead to painful end. Sex is just a part of one’s life so understanding, care, attention and love are most important thing in marriage life apart from sex. When someone says NO, means literally NO, respect it and move on, leave ur ego and lead a happy life. Just a thought, if u like then take it and if u don’t then leave it. this movie has a meaningful message indirectly and shows where the fights starts, from whom and where(I don’t want to blame one sided on groom) but that’s a one part of dimension side of an arranged marriage problems. Kudos to director and his whole team. Camera, screenplay, editing, actors were so good. Looking forward for a full fledge movie with a good story.
