BROADWAY is an avenue in the New York City borough of Brooklyn that extends from the East River in the neighborhood of Williamsburg in a southeasterly direction to East New York for a length of 4.32 miles (6.95 km). It was named for the Broadway in Manhattan.

I could see my building where I grew up at the last minute of the film across from the basketball court.
That is great footage. Always interesting to see a street view perspective of a neighborhood.

As an American Brooklyn is pretty trashy and the New York area in general has weird people and a lot of bad neighborhoods
@@Tj-ze8cu Majority of Brooklyn is not trashy lol yeah there are bad neighborhoods, but just like every other city in the world.
Awww my old neighborhood liked on Greene and patchen J train!!!!!! That was my family dollar, beauty supply, hair dresser etc good times in that area
Im so thankful for the push to live better. If it weren't for joining the Army, I never would've seen the places I've been. Retired in 2014, now live the life Ive always dreamed of when I was a kid standing on the corner of Rockaway & Macdougal. I always knew there had to be something better. Thank you Hood for the push!!!!!

saw the St. Marks. bldg. went there for a few years and lived on that block in early 80's.
I lived on Broadway closer towards the bridge, fun fun fun.

The lattice work el train columns on the sidewalk dates from 1888 and the small steel plates under the local tracks are from the same era.

What a pit, trash everywhere, broken streets and sidewalks, FNYC
NYC is my favourite city & I was last there with my wife when the twin towers were still standing. I feel hard times will soon be upon the world, the USA & NYC. People need to repent and get themselves right with God now. Thanks kindly for your videos Julien & God bless you.
Snydam street and Broadway the area was used in a movie way back in the days...king of New York... there used to be a chicken spot on the corner...
I call Broadway the other side of Williamsburg. Bed-stuy and Bushwick A Snapshot before gentrification.
I'm almost certain this street/area is in GTA 4.
And in the movie Malcolm X, when the 2 characters are 'jive walking'.
Look at all that graffiti where i live Mexican kids do that it just makes city streets look bad..

Hi. I'm actually staying on this street in September when I'm on vacation. How is it late at Night? Is it safe or no so much?
I wouldn’t recommend it. You notice the Citibike stations had not a single bike in them. In all likelihood it’s because they were all stolen. This is the quintessential “hood”. If dirty and grimy is what you’re looking for then you hit the jackpot. Otherwise I would stay clear.
Area at Myrtle Broadway train station is extra sketchy...be diligent use Uber
@@theonly1258 I know. I used to live near there and was born there as well. One small detail is that was the location site for one of the scenes in the movie Ghost.

@@booknerd9213 Marcy is alright. That’s Williamsburg. Just a stop across the bridge in Manhattan. It is much improved over the years.

its not at Brooklyn I saw at bus stop Q24 should be at Queens
Some....a few Queens line mta bus come into BK..Q24...comes down Atlantic Ave..to ENY station...
It starts on Patchen and Lafayette then it goes to queens
The busses go back and forth to Brooklyn to queens
