I love Kribs. They are one of my top 10 fish. Once I move, I want to set up a west African biotope.

I so wish your shop was in England! Your selection of Westies is amazing and many are very rarely found here even in the handful of shops that do specialise in them! I kept many of the fish you have there especially many of the Taeniatus (call me oldfashioned) colour morphs. Moliwes are my all time favourites. Do you ever see Nigeria Yellow or Greens, these seem now to be exceptionally hard to find? I kept two pair of Benito Riomuniensis for several years and I found them very easy to keep and breed in4⃣ footers. Finleyis (Mungo Blues) are also very rare and I didn't manage to breed these ones. Love other Chromidos such as Batesii but again almost never seen these. I don't think you had Wallaceochromis Rubrolabiatus? Stunning fish, hard to get a settled pair. Two of mine just laid eggs for the first time this week but I think they have eaten them, still hope there. In Europe we are seeing more fish exported from Guinea ,Lucanusi, the Rubros and some Humilis types, but less from Nigeria and Gabon. Anyway love your shop and passion for Westies, they are so cool.

Nice to see one of my favourite Cichlids featured - Anomalochromis thomasi. A fish which in my view is CRIMINALLY underrated, because it's possibly THE candidate for the title of "pacifist Cichlid". Deserves to be FAR more widely known, and adaptable to a good range of community setups as well as West African biotope aquaria.
One missing from your collection I was hoping to see - Neolebias ansorgei. A little jewel that unfortunately is somewhat on the shy side, and its rarity means that keeping a decent school of them will be pricey. But, they'll team up well with the thomasi, but finding other compatible partners might be tricky.

Excellent video of some neat lesser known species! Those jewels caught my eye. I recently discovered the moanda jewels and have been working with them. There doesn't seem to be a ton of info out there on the different jewels. It would be awesome if you guys could do an all jewel species breakdown. 😁

Great channel always providing interesting content. That said, you need to invest in better microphones. I know you mentioned in the beginning of the video that we were close to the machinery, but a video with a high pitch beeping throughout the entire video is almost unwatchable. Some mics can help avoid background and be better at just catching your voice. Would love to see this improved for your channel. Thanks for the interesting and usually different than most other RUclips channel content.
