Hey i just got this kit and the reason the knives didnt fit in the hand is because they are meant to go in the same hand as the pistol. I know its weird but thats what it says in the instructions

Ya know if you go by the lowest end of the size scale for EVA units in the anime (40 meters) this is actually 1/144 scale (by extrapolating against the Daughtress and Jenice in this review which are in the 18 meter range), so yeah have fun with that Idea, also EVA 00 is best looking EVA (it has a monoeye and even the chin things the Gundams have, so if Char piloted an EVA he would pilot a red version of Unit 00)

Do you think you will get more of these? It is stunning this is only barely more expensive than the Gallus, yet you get so much more. EDIT: okay, finished the video, heh, yeah, definitely glad you enjoyed it.
nice review! and I think the prog. knife was meant to be held in the trigger hand, it might work better with the shape of the handle. and you did well on your build, and you're review.
I just got this because every other 02 figures are all Rebuild version and another one is the Metalbuild which is too pricey. Just found out there's kotobukiya model kit too but a bit pricey for now....

Got my hands on this kit recently, but it was only partially built and no instructions. Checked the usual sites and tried building based off of a Unit-01 review, but now I'm stuck.
Been debating getting this for a while. you might have me sold. Say, can 1/144 gundams hold any of these accessories, or too damn big? because I could see the Lance being a good staff if I wanted to make a wizard themed custom.

Kakarot197 it would be awesome to see you review it cause it suprisingly has a lot of color apps, and overall isn't bad besides who doesn't love that boxart, and you might as well do all the angel model kits in one video since they are practically statues requiring paint besides you pretty much are a completionist and theres not really that great of reviews of it or has been filmed with a good camera
Weren't the Evas just clones of the Angels but under NERVs control? So they kinda were monsters not mechs Didnt she kindof use the lance in The End of Evangelion?
Carlos Salazar it has stickers but only for the white parts. I would highly suggest painting or at least using gundam markers. Especially the flourescent green for the eyes. Luckily i have all that stuff lol
I never understood the appeal of Evangellion. The mech designs just looked too creepy to me. The only thing that actually lured me into watching this was when I saw the arms in the Unboxing. Seriously, I'm glad that Bandai ditched engineering like that long ago. While unique, it was just a bad idea.
Well EVAs were not really mechs. More like giants (clones of 1st Angel) cased in armor and controlled by humans so that kinda explains why those were so creepy. Over all in my opinion lot of appeal that NGE has comes from fact that it broke down cliches of genre and offered more realistic characters with they own problems rather than just archtypes. Of course lot of those problems that those characters have make them rather annoying to some. Also note that battles between EVAs and angels were never main part of series.

The plastic is cheap and you could break pieces. For the feet I used crazy glue and it worked really well. Still a great model!
Same we even used the same glue the best glue for no life collectors

Im 5 years late but, the trigger finger hand is the one you use for the knife. I know it’s stupid but that’s the hand it was designed for.
They give you the lance so you can recreate the death scene
